Test Day 1 ( A test of wills)

TEST DAY 1

TIME : 9:00AM

LOCATION : TEST GROUNDS ZERO

Ilara opens her eyes to see herself in an unfamiliar container, her brain doesn't register the strange environment immediately with her eyes wandering as she stared at the roof.

The walls were painted a deep red and the roof was also the same color, there was nothing conspicuous in the room apart from the participants who slept in there sleeping bags.

Once it struck her that she wasn't in her hostel room, she immediately jerked from where she was lying and found herself laying inside a container with five other participants who seems to be still asleep.

"Where the hell is this??...where are we??"

Ilara think to herself as her eyes wandered through the four corners of the room trying to figure out where she was but to no avail as the environment was completely foreign to her memory.

"I remember sleeping in the dormitory so how the hell did I end up here??"

She asks wide eyed.

She soon decides to get to her feet but ends up waking another participant who rubs her eyes sleepily as she puts her head up, she finally seats up and scans the container she is in with an expressionless look on her face as she did so, she looks around for a bit with Ilara watching her to see how she would react.

"Uhmm."

Ilara attempts to speak but stop as she sees the expressionless look on the girls face turn to one of shock.

"Ahhhhhh!!!!!!!.... Where the hell am I??"

The girl screams at the top of her lungs causing the other participants to jerk off from their slumber, some with scared looks and others with surprised or annoyed looks on their face.

"Huh who the hell screams like that and woke me up from my nap??"

A participant with sleepy eyes asks as he tries to rub the sleep from his eyes.

"We have been kidnapped."

The screaming girl from earlier on says in a high pitched voice jolting those that were half awake to their full senses.

"Calm down, deep breaths, take in deep breaths, we'll be fine."

Ilara tries to calm the screaming girl but to not avail as she started to breath heavily.

"How are we going to be fine??....we have been locked in a box in who knows where and we don't even know how we got here."

The girl cries out in a shaky voice.

"Hey, shut it will ya. Stop freaking out already, my eardrums are hurting from all that noise you're making."

Another participant says in a gruff voice as she seemed quite upset to have been woken up in such a loud manner.

"Hey don't talk to her like that, she's just in shock. Try to understand that."

Ilara says with the annoyed participant grunting before turning her face away.

"Yeah you should calm down, everything is going to be fine, OK."

A male participant assures as he takes a hold of the screaming girl's hands and squeezes them softly.

"You don't have to worry about anything."

The male participant says in a calm voice after which the screaming girl begin to calm her nerves.

"Thanks. Sorry bout the way I reacted. I'm just not used to waking up in enclosed spaces like this so I kinda freaked out."

The girl explains in a shaky voice as other participants began to investigate the container they were in.

"It's fine, you don't have to explain anything. I'm also not used to waking up in enclosed spaces so that makes two of us."

The male participant remarks with a chuckle drawing a light giggle from the screaming girl and a smile from Ilara.

"I'm Animus, what's your name??"

The male participant introduces himself to the screaming girl as he put his hand forward for a handshake

"I'm May."

The screaming girl responds putting forth her own hand to shake Animus.

"You have a firm grip, May."

Animus remarks as he withdraws from the shake to turn his attention to Ilara who sat beside May watching his actions.

"And you what's your name??"

Animus asks passively.

"Ilara, nice to meet you."

Ilara replies as she puts forth her hand as well and shakes Animus firmly.

"You look familiar or do I say your voice sounds familiar."

Ilara remarks with a curious look.

"Well I don't think we have met so I'm guessing its because I'm the guy that had his butt handed to him by the head administrator yesterday."

Animus replies with a smile.

"Oh yeah that's true."

Ilara chuckles a bit with Animus doing same.

"Thanks Ilara, sorry for causing so much trouble."

May apologizes with a hand to her head.

"You're welcome."

Ilara replies breaking off the hand shake with Animus.
