Chapter 182

Otto Parker stood up, surveyed the surroundings, and quickly reached a conclusion.

He was now in the year 2099!

That was the era of Spider-Man 2099, who had come back to his time and fought against him!

Because the technology here was significantly more advanced than his own time.

Otto Parker shrugged, thinking optimistically, "This outcome is actually acceptable. My genius was already a century ahead of my time, and now I can combine it with the technology of this era. Finding a way to travel back shouldn't be too hard, as long as I find a well-equipped research facility!"

He lifted his spirits.

However, Otto Parker clearly didn't realize that this era was somewhat different from his own.

He hadn't been there for long when a few individuals flying flying bikes, calling themselves "Public Eye," came to hassle him.

"Stop! Spider-Man, you're under arrest by us. Please don't attempt to escape!" one of them in uniform shouted.

"Hmm? Escape?" Otto Parker turned back, coldly staring at the one who spoke, then suddenly dashed toward them, "You've got the wrong person!"

In the nick of time, as his body was in mid-air, four crimson spider legs extended from his back.

Boom!

Boom!

Two explosions rang out as Otto Parker's figure swiftly flew through the air.

Meanwhile, the two flying bikes behind him exploded right where they were!

"Retreat, retreat, call for backup!" The uniformed personnel hurriedly activated the devices on their combat suits, reducing their descent speed.

"Usually, when Spider-Man sees us coming after him, he flees. Who the hell is this guy, not playing by the rules?" Another uniformed person, frustrated, opened a cushioning device, cursing as they watched Otto Parker's silhouette.

By this time, Otto Parker was already dozens of meters away.

He glanced back at the two floating figures in the air and sneered, "That's right, fools, hurry and escape to save your pitiful little lives. If your brains are still intact, remember to stay away from me in the future!"

At this moment, a flying car arrived in front of Otto Parker and hovered in the air.

"Spider-Man, what are you doing here, enjoying yourself alone?" the man in the car shouted. "They'll be back soon, and it'll be worse! If you don't want more trouble, come with me now!"

Otto Parker scrutinized the man warily and replied, "I'll trust you for now, but if this is some kind of trick... be careful. I'm not the Spider-Man you might know!"

The man faintly smiled and said, "Actually, I know exactly who you are. Your outfit is different from his, but now that I've heard your voice, I'm sure. You're that Spider-Man from the heroic era, Peter something, right?"

"Well.." Otto Parker felt a bit annoyed, but his caution told him that even in this unfamiliar era, he couldn't reveal his true identity.

So, he remained silent, tacitly agreeing.

It was the man who seemed surprised. "You don't remember me?"

Otto Parker chuckled, "Is that really so strange? After all, it was a long time ago. Besides, you look pretty ordinary. Is it that easy to remember you?"

A vein appeared on the man's forehead. "You... Fine then, let's reintroduce ourselves. I'm Gabriel O'Hara. In this era, there's also a Spider-Man, my brother Miguel. But now, he's missing. Did you have anything to do with it?"

This time, Otto Parker was a bit more forthcoming. He shook his head, "Absolutely not. In fact, I'm a victim, just like him! But if you could provide me with more precise information, maybe I can help sort this out. For both mine and your brother's sake."

"Alright," Gabriel O'Hara nodded. He still had faith in Spider-Man. "Then, let's go to Mickey's apartment. It'll be a good hiding place, maybe we can make some plans there."

So, chatting along the way, the two changed direction and headed to their destination.

After some analysis, Otto Parker quickly understood what he needed to do now.

First, he paid a visit to Stark Industries in this era (already seized by force) and "borrowed" a temporal energy vocalization device.

Then, he went to Alchemax and "borrowed" technology related to spatial jumps, materialization, dematerialization, and some accompanying components.

For this, he directly robbed a large truck!

Although this made him a wanted criminal in this era, after he defeated many uniformed personnel and some of this era's superheroes in a row, the pursuit of him temporarily came to a halt.

Perhaps they were recalculating Spider-Man's combat power and devising a more sophisticated capture plan.

But at least, Otto Parker did manage to buy himself some time.

In some ways, Otto Parker proved to be quite capable. However, it's uncertain how Gabriel O'Hara felt upon seeing this mess. After all, for the people of this era, there's only one Spider-Man in the world.

Feeling ashamed to face Gabriel O'Hara, Otto Parker found a relatively spacious abandoned warehouse in the ruins of New York City and completed his unfinished design there.

"So, this is future technology? Bah!" After quickly deciphering the mysteries behind the technologies he acquired, Otto Parker didn't hide his disdain.

"I guess being too far ahead in intelligence for my own time is unfortunate. There's nothing in this world that can keep up with my thinking. Fortunately, these gadgets are barely usable. Ugh!" With hands in his pockets, Otto Parker gazed proudly at the contraption he assembled in half a day.

Luckily, only his self-designed artificial intelligence assistant could witness everything.

"Is your time channel ready, Doctor?"

Otto Parker nodded, "Almost there. And you, adjust your hairstyle a bit shorter."

"Adjusting now. Is this fine?" The artificial intelligence quickly made adjustments to its appearance.

Otto Parker couldn't help but reach out and gently brush its cheek, "Perfect. Alright, let's get to business! Download yourself into my wristwatch, get ready for the time jump."

Saying that, Otto Parker picked up the mask of his battle suit placed nearby.

"Okay, Doctor."

"Check the 'flashback' command to avoid any mishaps."

"All systems are functioning properly."

"Very well, then let's go."
