Chapter 172

Faced with his "friendly greeting," the Vulture from Earth-94's face began turning angry:

"I think you should retire to a retirement community; I heard the male-to-female ratio there is three to one! Because, you know, they say men die early. But hey, there's actually a worse way to die than that, you know?"

The face of Earth-94's Vulture suddenly darkened, appearing rather fierce: "You have no idea what fate awaits you! But the Lady will soon enlighten you!"

With a wing flap, he rapidly flew towards Earth-94's Ben Reilly.

Ben Reilly extended his hands, shooting a large clump of webbing that enveloped the head of Earth-94's Vulture.

"Hey, buddy, what's with your teeth? Did the folks in prison fool you into thinking this is trendy now? Come on, they're just messing with you!"

Finally, Earth-94's Ben Reilly identified what was off about Earth-94's Vulture. Suddenly, all his teeth had been sharpened into pointed fangs, causing his face to distort, and his speech to slur.

He probably caught onto some bizarre trend.

Buzz—

At that moment, Ben Reilly's Spider-Sense tingled.

"He wants to sharpen his teeth because the Lady only feeds them Spider Essence." A sinister voice echoed.

As Earth-94's Ben Reilly dodged, he glanced backward.

Behind him, about twenty differently shaped Vultures were flying towards him!

Among them was a Black Vulture dressed in black feather clothing resembling a crow, a Red Vulture in a red leather jacket, a young Original Green Vulture, and a stronger-looking middle-aged Original Green Vulture.

"What on earth! A bunch of Vultures? That's probably the worst band name in history!" Earth-94's Ben Reilly quipped, evading the relentless attacks from the Vultures.

Zoom—

A Red Vulture swiftly approached, seizing the opportunity to bring Earth-94's Ben Reilly crashing down from the sky.

With a loud thud, Earth-94's Ben Reilly landed on his back, instantly coughing.

Plummeting from over ten meters high made him feel a jolt through his internal organs.

It was rather uncomfortable.

"Who are you? What are you creatures?"

*Growl!* The Red Vulture snarled, opening its mouth.

Its mouth wasn't human but rather, on either side of its cheeks, bulging masses of flesh.

It looked somewhat like the visor of a medieval knight's helmet, movable faceplates.

—Except it was made of flesh.

It was quite disgusting.

"I'm starving!"

Hoo—

Another Black Vulture swooped in, saying, "I'm so hungry, let me have a bite!"

"A bite? How about this instead?"

A figure appeared beside Earth-94's Ben Reilly, kicking the Red Vulture away.

Simultaneously, a web shot out, pulling the Black Vulture up.

Earth-94's Ben Reilly stood up, looking at the person who came to his aid. To his surprise, it was someone wearing a Spider-Man suit similar to his "brother's" (this universe' Peter Parker) previous attire!

"Thanks, who are you?" Earth-94's Ben Reilly asked in confusion.

He was certain his good brother had lost his spider powers, and this person didn't quite feel like him.

'94 Spider extended his hand, using webs to stick the Red Vulture to the ground, saying, "Hello, I'm a Spider-Man from another universe. You can call me Earth-94 Spider. Though I don't know why he calls me that, with so many partners, it's more convenient this way."

Earth-94's Ben Reilly exclaimed, "Are you really Spider-Man? From another universe? So, are you also Peter?"

Earth-94's Spider nodded, "Yes, aren't you?"

When Mark summoned him, he was only told that this world was labeled as Earth-94 but wasn't informed of this world's Spider-Man's true identity, so he naturally assumed the person before him was Peter Parker.

Earth-94's Ben Reilly shook his head, "I'm a clone of this world's Peter; I'm Ben Reilly."

This surprised Earth-94's Spider.

"Wow, you're also Ben Reilly! Hey, Reilly, you've got a brother here!"

That last sentence was directed at the 1994 version of Reilly.

Meanwhile, the 1994 version of Reilly was battling a heavily-built Bear Vulture.

Hearing Earth-94 Spider's shout, he momentarily paused.

Thankfully, his Spider-Sense was sharp enough, allowing him to dodge the strike in time.

Annoyed, he remarked, "Boss, focus on the fight! Don't slow us down, okay?"

The Spider-Punisher caught the Black Vulture's head with a strand of web and swiftly retracted it.

At the same time, the barrel of a shotgun emerged from his left wrist.

Bang!

The shotgun's immense power, fired at close range, obliterated the Black Vulture's head into pieces.

The Spider-Punisher coldly severed the web, allowing the headless corpse to plummet from the building, then resumed seeking the next "target."

The Iron Spider adapted two shoulder-mounted machine guns, firing a burst toward the densely packed Vulture Legion.

However, these bullets, specifically downsized for individual combat, had limited impact.

Several Vultures covered in ammunition chains immediately lifted their wings, and the metallic wings implanted into their bodies deflected all the bullets.

Octo-Spider, using his webbing and four mechanical tentacles in tandem, quickly subdued one of the Vultures.

Although Spider-Girl seemed somewhat inexperienced, she cooperated with Circus Spider, engaging in combat amid the urban structures.

Despite the Legion of Vultures numbering over twenty, the Spider-Men's side consisted of nine individuals. For a moment, the battle seemed evenly matched.

Among them, the Spider-Punisher stood out the most.

He wasn't the most powerful among these Spider-Men, nor did he possess equipment comparable to the Iron Spider.

However, his ruthlessness was unparalleled.

Any Vulture caught by his webbing usually met one of three outcomes: a large-caliber handgun bullet to the head, a shotgun blast to the skull, or a high-voltage electric shock.

In just a few minutes, three more Vultures fell at his hands.

This kind of combat made these Vultures, driven only by a desire to kill, feel a chill down their spines.

The other Spider-Men also began to cast sidelong glances at him.

"Is he really a Spider-Man?"

"Is he really Peter?"

"He seems to have a story."

The elite Spider team from 1994 universe discussed among themselves.

Circus-Spider and Spider-Girl had more contact with the Spider-Punisher.

However, because they weren't villains, the Spider-Punisher's attitude towards them was rather kind.

Previously, the only thing that made them feel different from him was that during their sparring sessions, the Spider-Punisher tended to unintentionally use excessive force—perhaps he was accustomed to fighting with that level of strength.

Now, they finally witnessed the Spider-Punisher's combat style.

Seeing his way of fighting, an image of her father's final moments involuntarily flashed through Mayday's mind.

Suddenly, she clenched her fist and punched the chest of the nearby Vulture, causing a significant dent in his chest armor!

The cyborg Vulture coughed up a large amount of blood.

Spider-Girl followed up with a flying kick, sending him crashing away, lying motionless on the ground, his fate unknown.

Circus-Spider was somewhat surprised by the sudden outburst from the girl.

But he didn't say much.

After all, they were all antagonistic villains, so using excessive force was justified.

He himself had almost died once!

With this thought in mind, Circus-Spider's attacks became heavier.

As several Spider-Men erupted in succession and the Vultures continued to suffer casualties, the situation gradually began to turn, with the Legion of Vultures falling into decline.

Just when everyone thought the situation was settled, their Spider-Senses suddenly all went off simultaneously.

Hum~

In mid-air, a portal opened.

A terrifying figure stepped out of the portal.

She wore a tight purple dress and styled her hair in a medieval noblewoman's manner.

Her revealing attire showcased two large white semicircles at her chest, adding a touch of allure to her appearance.

But at this moment, no one cared about her beauty.

Because she was the fourth in the line of the Inheritors—Verna!

Verna stood proudly in the sky, devoid of wings, yet defying physics as she stood suspended in the air.

The portal behind her didn't close.

Instead, figures continued to emerge from it.

A Silver Mink Hound in a black bodysuit with silver hair draped over her shoulders!

A brawny figure with a mane of lion fur on his shoulders, The Kraven Hound!

A gray-skinned, horned Rhino Hound!

Verna, accompanied by her Legion of Hounds, had descended!

Compared to the pure composition of the Vulture Legion (comprising solely of Vultures), the composition of the Hound Legion was more diverse, yet their combat prowess was even more formidable!

Although the Silver Mink lacked superpowers, she possessed strength, agility, physical capabilities surpassing ordinary individuals, outstanding combat skills, and firearms proficiency, making her a formidable mercenary.

The 616 Universe's Silver Mink had some ambiguous relationship with the Spider-Man of that world.

Fortunately, this one obviously didn't hail from the 616 Universe; she was a "Silver Mink" captured from another universe.

Puma Hound had appeared in the 616 Universe as well, known as Thomas Fireheart, inheritor of a mysterious power through ten generations of genetic engineering from a Native American tribe, possessing remarkable physical attributes and strong healing abilities.

In the main universe, he was a friend of Spider-Man, but evidently, this was also a poor fellow abducted from some unknown universe.

There were also the Kraven The Hunter, Rhino, and others who had caused considerable trouble for Spider-Man.

And now, these guys, totaling several dozen, had all gathered together!

Members of 1994 Spider, Spider-Punisher, and 94 Universe Ben Riley, who had seen some of these individuals before, looked on in shock and anger at this Hound Legion enslaved by Verna.

For the inheritors' lack of humanity, they had gained a further understanding at this moment!
