Spider-Man: it's not easy being a hero surrounded by women

A teenage boy was living his normal life when he stumbles on a cyoa thread where he has to roll a dice and see what he gets in his "hypothetical" story as boons, but after some time, exactly the day before he enters high school and has come back from his vacation, he notices a pack in front of his more containing some strange vials with liquid and a letter on which was written shortly. THANK YOU FOR YOUR REVIEW OF OUR SITE. THIS IS OUR THANKS IN THE FORM OF THIS GIFT.

Hello I'm Peter

-Midtown High School-

It's the beginning of the year and students are seen entering the building. Some are in groups, some alone, and one student that doesn't particularly stand out is seen entering with his head down, reminiscing about something that seemed to bother him.

He looks around, trying to spot something, and then resumes his thoughts with a bothered expression, as if having found the reason why he was distressed, not one but multiple reasons.

He increased his peace by arriving at the first class he needed to attend.

While more people entered the class and sat down, he noticed someone he had seen before, at the entrance, someone he believed to have recognized yet was not entirely sure about, thus deciding to wait for the introductions to clarify his doubts.

<Hello, students. My name is Mrs. Winterhalter. On this, your first day of school here at Midtown, I would like each one of you to make a brief introduction.>

After the lady that seemed to be in her fifties made her introduction, the students that were called by her started to stand up to talk about themselves.

<My name is Herry Osborn. It's a pleasure to meet you.>

Even though this is such a brief introduction, the lean and tall man with an enviable appearance and the tone in which he introduced himself made him seem like a meek person.

The person following his introduction was a tall, blonde woman, who, rather than being attractive, seemed more like a thug that scared the majority of the other classmates.

<My name is Flash Thompson. I also practice with the rugby school team. Herry is my boyfriend, so stay away from him.>

Like that, waves of introductions followed till the whole class finished speaking, leaving only one person left to speak.

<Now, as the only other boy and the only one that didn't speak, may you stand up and introduce yourself. >

Mrs. Winterhalter gestured to the only other boy in the class, which made him the center of attention and also made him distressed as such. Nonetheless, he still stood up and made his introduction.

<My name is Peter H. Parker. I'm pleased to make your acquaintance>

-One day prior-

My name is Peter H. Parker, but my friends call me Pete. Or at least they would be.

It has been some time since I last heard from them, from the beginning of the summer vacation till my return home some days ago. I tried calling them, but no one ever answered the phone, and upon returning home, I knew why.

On my return, I found a package in front of my house that contained three vials of different colors and a letter with them.

|Hello customer, and thank you again for joining our review of the new dice cyoa. As a thank you for your participation and cooperation, we send you this package alongside another gift that you may figure out later on your own|

At first, I was confused about what this pack was referring to, but later in the evening, I remembered about a site I and my friends found while surfing the web named Dice Cyoa in the Marvel Verse.

At first, we found this site silly and thought it was a Marvel fan site where they held their meetings.

Later, when trying to enter it, we discovered how serious this fan was, as it requested identification, location, and an initial payment for unlimited entry.

At first, the identification alone made me slightly rethink entering the site, but with the assistance of my friends, I filled out the registration and logged in.

But upon entering, we found that the only thing on the site was two links, one called "members" and the other "dice. We first looked into members only to find out that, except for us, the only other member was the creator of the said site, something that was slightly funny as it seemed that no one wanted to register.

Then, without waiting, we entered the dice link that took us to another site with a text bar and a column with instructions.

|1. You get transported to an unknown place and are given three dice, one white, one black, and one gold.

2. After rolling the dice, the number that appears on every die will give you an essence of the randomly generated six for every die.

3. When you finish your throws, the registered individual on the site where you found the link will later receive the essences after being transported to an alternate Marvel universe.|

|WARNING: We are not responsible for the universe's eventual displeasure or discomfort as a result of the person compiling this file.|

We first had a big laugh and then finished filling in the questions that the site was giving us. We even rolled some real dice instead of putting down a random number from one to six, and the results were rather cool.

White: the essence of the crafter.

Black: The Essence of the Superhuman

Gold: The Essence of the Summoner

Nonetheless, our luck was good, especially with the gold one. We already imagined a certain king of Britain, and a fox waifu, and most importantly, the UMU.

We also liked the black one and made some bullshit genome trees for mutants with the ability to copy, take, or even give the powers, but when we saw what other things we put in the power, it broke to such a degree that I and my friends thought it needed to have a drawback or else it would have been like playing Minecraft till the end, in creative, not something likable.

We even chose to be Peter Parker, because it was widely known in comics that he had a lot of chicks back in the day, even though it was severely hampered by the age difference, something about character, and let's not forget the infamous Peter Luck, who nearly always ruins everything.

After remembering all this and the tried point on the dice site, I was somewhat nervous as to whether or not it was real that it would transport the one that made the registration to a random AU. So without waiting, I entered the house and opened my computer, looking for the site that supposedly sent me the vials. And nothing. The site and all the proof of its existence disappeared from my computer.

Without panicking, I started looking for general media to know what is different about this universe, remembering the warning that flashed red when we entered the dice link.

To my horror, I found something scarier than being transported into the Marvel universe. I found the population chart and regime under which this earth operated and the difference between my previous society and this one.

This world has a demography of nearly 87% to 90% women and only 10% men. The scary fact is that, with this imbalance in gender, men are treated as some sort of endangered species as the female population increases every year and the male population keeps decreasing. In an article online, it is said that if nothing is done in the next fifty or a hundred years, men will drop to a pitiful 5% of the population. Given the risks and the fact that artificial insemination will eventually become a problem, men are only allowed to have three wives, and if another male is born, they will receive official government assistance to help raise them.

Theoretically, as a man and one from normal earth, coupled with my hormones, I should drool at the idea of legal harems, but seeing more of how men behave in this reality made me puke in disgust.

A big majority of men behave like my world counterpart of a woman or, even worse, a Karen. Seeing this, I looked more into the behaviors of men and so on, only to lose faith in humanity as people like me are considered strong-willed men that protest against our role in society, just like my previous world woman, something like discrimination at work and so on that women in my world constantly complained about.

Seeing all this, I thought it couldn't get worse, but oh boy, I was wrong. In this world, it seems like even though it seems all peaceful, there are some women who, seeing how men are against the idea of sex (something alien to me), have started to *cough* **** *cough* men. If this happened to a man in my world, he would unzip his pants and follow the "rapist" through a dark alley or can without making a sound.

Looking back at how alien this world seemed to me and yet so familiar to what I knew about Marvel, like Captain America still being a man and how many of the historical figures I knew were still there, though the majority became women.

Thinking about all of this, I returned my gaze to the table where I had placed the three vials, which, according to Marvel comics, could save my life if I played them correctly.

I had finished my brief history research by looking through all of my possessions, noticing the lack of anything Marvel-related, as well as my slightly different address, as by memory it was still my home, but by memory, I had never lived in Queens. With further inspection, I was shocked as I was no more Harrison Flint, but Peter Harrison Parker.

And if things couldn't get better, tomorrow is my first day of school, for which I am totally not ready.
