Break Plan

A week has passed since I talked to the Spider Squadron in person and currently, I am in the police station with Anderson and Erica. And to be honest I haven't gotten used to her missing arm.

"So what do you too have planned this week?" Anderson asked.

"Work." I responded.

"Go to my Grandaughter's trip."

Hearing this I tilted my head.

"This early?"

"Private School." 

"Ah." Anderson and I responded, Erica then touched her chin and pondered.

"What's wrong, Gran?" Anderson joked, gaining a smack from Erica.

"Dick. I wanted to ask you something Spidey."

At this point, I was making coffee for the three of us and walked over with their coffee.

"Sure, go ahead," I responded while going back to my seat with my coffee.

"Can you come to the trip?" I continued to drink my coffee and thought about it. I wouldn't mind, but I would like to bring Ellie but it could bring danger to herself.

"I was going to say that you bring someone, but it might get them in trouble." Hearing Erica say this made my brain work overdrive while thinking of multiple solutions to keeping Ellie safe and also allowing her to have fun.

"Ok, I'll go. Where's the school and where is the trip?" Erica hearing this gave a smile.

"Thanks, go to ******** School and the trip is to the Tower of London. Be at the school before 8:30 am in two days." I nodded and finished my coffee.

"Alright, I'll tell my plus one and see how they feel about it." Waving goodbye I left the station, and then swung away.

Arriving at my home in my civilian clothes, I see my mom and Ellie sitting on the couch, eating popcorn and watching a movie.

"Hello," I called out, Mom paused the movie while Ellie jumped over the couch and into my hands.

"Hi, Papa! How was today?" 

"It was good."

"Lucas, do you have anything planned this week? You have to spend some time with Ellie." My mom said, I could only chuckle and kissed her forehead.

"I had a plan for me and Ellie." Hearing this Ellie tilted her head.

"I was invited to go on a school trip for a friend's Grandchild, and she wanted to know if I would come. So do you want to join Papa to see some cool things?"

Ellie smiled and nodded excitedly.

"Yes! I wanna go too!" She started running around and jumping like crazy. Like I always said to my mother, I couldn't wait to adopt Ellie but for now my mom adopted her until I can properly adopt her. And I and my mom talked about getting her into year 4 of primary school, however, until we find a good school my mom and Melissa have been teaching her what she needs to know.

"Ellie, come with me I'll buy you some clothes and get you a mask for the trip," I called out, Ellie ran to the door and started putting her shoes on. I then gave her my hat, I started giving her my hat because of my growing fear that someone might hurt her when trying to hurt me.

But leaving that for now, I grabbed her hand and said my goodbyes to my mom before we left to go shopping.
