Chapter 7: Nuys vs Simon(part 1)
They got on the bus.
Ronny: Now we will go to the Combat class.
It took half an hour to reach the combat class. Ronny: Boys we have reached the place. Now you will give your 1st exam. Let's go and meet the teacher in your class.
They went to a filed. There were students who were running, doing push-ups, sit-ups, weight lifting, and other exercises, They were puffed. There was a man who was watching the exercises.
Ronny: Mr. Howard Windsor.
Howard: Ronny, So you have come. That's your new batch. There are more students than the last batch.
Howard Windsor looks like a 50 years old man. Some part of his hair is white and some are turning white. He looks healthy and strong. He has a serious face.
Ronny: Yes sir!!.
Howard: You all come here. Stand in a line.
All of the students stood in a line. From right Nuys was 3rd in the line. Sabaharu was 11th in the line. Simon was 12th in the line.
Howard: Ronny, how many people are here?
Ronny: 20.
Howard: Ok form the left to go that box and take a piece of paper from there. Now go.
The first person who picked up a piece said: Why does it have numbers?.
Howard: The number you got is the number that I am going to give you. From right to middle is 1-10 and from left, to the middle, you 10 will take the lottery
In a few minutes, they took all the lottery.
Howard "You" Points at Sabaharu.
Sabaharu: ME!?
Howard: YA You. What number you got". Sabaharu: 9.
Howard: Who is 9th?
Some guy from the middle said: Me!
Howard: Both of you get ready for a fight.
The guy from the middle: I can't fight I am a mid-range fighter.
Howard: Ok. You on the right of him. What is the number you got?
Simon: 3.
Howard: The 3rd person from the right. You.
Nuys: ME?
Howard: YA Who is 3rd form the right than you?
Howard shouts: HEY EVERYONE WANNA SEE A FIGHT TOURNAMENT OF NEWBIES?
Those who were training were excited and said
"Newbies!!"
"Its time boy. We hardly see any fight".
They leave their training and gathers around Nuys and his friends.
Howard: Xien make a circle.
One guy makes a circle.
Simon: Do we have to fight?
Howard: If you don't wanna fight then you cant join.
Someone in the crowd: Scared baby mom is not gonna help you.
Simon: You really got personal. Now I have to win no matter what.
Simon jumps in the circle
Simon: Nuys come.
Howard: Do I need to give you a personal letter? Go!
Nuys gets in the circle. In the crowd, it is full of energy and excitement. One guy form crowd said "OH that's dead dry fish. let's not hope him to break his bones. Give him water. Call the doctor".
Howard: Silence!! You Two Get ready. The rule is simple, knockout or gets him out of the circle.
The atmosphere becomes serious.
Nuys and Simon get in the boxing pose.
Simon in mind: Nuys is physically strong. He is smart too. Let's see how good he is in a fight.
Nuys in mind: Simon you are a good guy but I have a dream and I want to complete it so I have to beat you no matter what.
Howard: Ready! Start!!
Simon goes all out, A left jab. As he got near Nuys, Nuys parries his punch upward with his left hand.
Simon in mind,
WHAT!
He looked surprised, he was ready for a punch but a parry was unexpected. He saw his movement, it wasn't finished!! Nuys spins 360 and goes for the head with his right hand. Simon somehow blocked that. Without wasting any time Nuys goes for a heavy punch with his left hand. Simon bearly doges the heavy punch. Simon is having a mixed feeling of fear and joy.
Simon (In mind): He is strong, fast. I'm also strong.
His heart beats faster than before. He had confidence but that was shattered.
Simon (in mind): You heart stop beating fast. Become normal. Normal!!!
He overcomes his fear. He calms himself and focuses on the fight. He runs toward Nuys. By the look, it was obvious that he was going for a punch with his right hand. But his moves were fishy. When he got near to Nuys, He fakes the punch and punches him with his left hand. Nuys dodges the punch. Simon uses the momentum of that missed punch, spins 360 and hits him in the face. All of it happened in a second that Nuys was unable to block that. A direct hit in the face did significant damage. Simon is feeling more confident than before.
Simon(in mind): Yes!!
The crowd was silent for a few seconds When Nuys got hit. They looked surprised but The excitement of the crowd increased, a few seconds later the silence turned into loud noises.
