he entered the submarine bay that was empty, it was like a big swimming pool with a hatch at the bottom

"hmm I wonder if the cave below is still safe..., Rose, open the hatch just enough for me to swim through," said Erik while putting on his helmet that connected itself.

Erik jumped into the water and instantly felt the suit around his feet grow diving fins, this suit was more and more handy each time he thought.

the hatch was circular and had opened just enough for a person to fit through, he noticed the hatch's borders were super sharp.

he went through the gap and at the other side was a widely illuminated cave, it looked neat and empty with just some supplies and a small broken car-sized transport on a corner, so he relaxed a bit, there were no submarines or big vehicles though, just some hand turbines on the wall, Erik grabbed one and asked.

"What happened to the transports, Rose? such a big garage and just leave it empty?"

[ well, my last keeper went crazy after a long alone time, so he decided to go to a dangerous zone to fix my antenna, but that place is crowded by lots of monsters that can block my vision so I don't know what happened to him, but it's been millions of years so... I expect him to have died or become absorbed by some weird lifeform maybe 🤔]

"...well, I'm not crazy enough for that yet"

seeing it was safe he started cleaning the base, throwing all clams, mussels, and mud inside there, and eating crab meat sashimi, also eating some eggs as a jelly after blending them, and the polished pieces of carapace, though his body seemed to have problems digesting it and Rose made him clean and eat the crab's stomach, that made his stomach stronger and be able to digest the carapace balls, his bones got stronger and his muscles too, his body had gotten somewhat stronger in general from the eggs too, although he had eaten just about half, it took him all a week in the end.

The base had been completely cleaned in that week too, so he finally decided to go exploring, opening the caves circular door a bit, he squeezed outside, just outside the garage door the mud had accumulated quite a bit, and there was an algae forest

it looked like a kelp algae forest in his memories, but the algae were shining slightly seedpods, he took some sample leaves and seedpods with his knife, and put them on his backpack to study at a later time, there was also some glowing elongated snails eating the algae, he captured 2 into a container in the backpack.

"What are these Rose?"

[those are glowing snail's babies, they feed on algae and can grow to 4 meters in length, a previous keeper used to use their empty shells to make small rowing boats for fun, but be careful, they are poisonous]
