It has been exactly a year since Leah and Maxus first dated.

Leah now sat by her father's side, midnight just hit as she felt the dried up tears across her cheek, barely being able to keep herself quiet in the room to prevent Aunt Tan and her family from finding out they she was sobbing. Peering over to her side, Leah could see that her dad was barely in stable position, his heartbeat stablizing after a few hours. His stab wound bandaged but still seeping a little blood while all this time, her mother was in prison.

Just when she thought everything was over and she could finally take a short breather, Maxus left without warning.
