Chapter 16: Friends

The book looked to be an old one. It is covered with an old-leathered but is still in good condition. It is surrounded by an white-like aura.

Tang Jiyao willed the book to near him. Tang Jiyao notices a line of unrecognizable words in the cover.

Tang Jiyao was sure that he didn't know that style of writing, but for some reason he can still understand it.

'Holy Faith Melody Technique'

Tang Jiyao thought as he read the unfamiliar words. Tang Jiyao willed it to open.

Tang Jiyao is bombarded by a sudden influx of information.

The book contains a cultivation technique that uses music. It allows the user to boost its cultivation speed as long as people heard his music and understand it.

The boost is equivalent to the listener's emotions.

Tang Jiyao was very happy, as this cultivation technique is very suitable to him.

Tang Hao just looked at the booked cover and saw some unknown but familiar writing.

'Where did I seen this?'

Tang Hao looked at his son.

"How did you find out, it's an cultivation technique? Where did you even get this?" Tang Hao asked.

"I don't know, I just knew. Also it just appeared." Tang Jiyao innocently said.

Tang Jiyao didn't think he was lying. '

It just appeared in my head, it also tells me it's a cultivation technique.'

"Ehh? Why dad?" Tang Jiyao said sadly.

Tang Jiyao's music brings Tang Hao a sense of comfort, like a mother comforting his child after he tripped.

Tang Hao just let the music go into him.

Although Tang Hao let his guard a little about the technique, he is still are in look out for possible dangers.

As the music goes on, the nearby spirit beast heard it, and goes to the source.

They saw a child sitting in the ground, while an adult man is standing at his front, protecting the child.

As the spirit beast gathered, Tang Hao realize the possible danger, he tried to stop Tang Jiyao, but Tang Hao realize that it's too late, they are surrounded.

Tang Hao summoned his spirit, intend to fight, but Tang Jiyao just continued to play.

As Tang Jiyao continue to play, some of the spirit beast gathered. This spirit seemed to be just 10-years-old spirit beast. They contained an innocent rare from those older spirit beast.

More and more spirit beast gathered and sit by the ground, clearly no ill intent.

Tang Hao watching this was shock. This is the first time he saw spirit beasts who are so calm and had no intentions to fight.

Tang Hao then let the spirit beast listen but still put up his guard in case something goes wrong.

It's been 2 months since they arrived at this forest. Tang Hao is pretty much numbed to the things he saw.

Tang Hao watch as his son interact with the forest's spirit beasts and this spirit beast even contain a 10,000 years-old spirit beast.

Tang Hao also realized the potential of the cultivation technique, Tang Jiyao picked.

"Pack your bags, we will be going." Tang Hao said.

For the past 2 months, Tang Jiyao made a bond with the spirit beasts, they became his first friends from this world.

Tang Jiyao discovered that he can communicate with the spirit beast if he played his spirit, though he can communicate with them without but just barely.

Tang Jiyao is reluctant to leave his friends.

"Did you forgot your promise to your brother?" Tang Hao reminded.

Tang Jiyao then remember his promise to his brother.

'Get strong, okay?'

'Were gonna be the richest man alive.'

"You will not gonna fulfill those, if we didn't leave." Tang Hao persuaded.

Tang Jiyao just nodded slowly and walk towards the herd of spirit beast.

"I need to go." Tang Jiyao said while caressing a Golden Cloud Sheep.

"I need to get... Sob... strong, so that I won't waste... Sob... my brother's sacrifice." Tang Jiyao said between sobs.

Tang Jiyao then hugged his first friends in this world.

"I need to pack." Tang Jiyao said while wiping his eyes.

Tang Jiyao then ran towards their tent, and pack.

A dozen of minutes gone by and Tang Jiyao is now prepared to leave.

Tang Jiyao then walk out of their tent only to his friends.

The spirit beast brought with them a dozen of shiny looking fruits and herbs.

This fruits and herbs is in attuned with the light element.

Tang Jiyao neared his friends and asked them.

"What is this?"

The spirit beast just looked and gestured.

'For you.'

Another spirit beast also came forward and present him an egg.

This egg is colored yellow mixed with a tad of sky blue with a complicated pattern adorned in it.

'It will protect you.'

Some voice sounded in Tang Jiyao's mind.

Tang Jiyao is startled, but didn't pay attention to it, as he begun crying.

"I'll pay you a visit you'll!" Tang Jiyao said.

"Wait for me okay?"
