My Notes on the power system/world

These are notes I took straight from the Manga, also my hope is that with these notes and fan fic Soul Eater Fics become more popular.

P.s I'm not using the wiki for any of this these are my own thoughts and conclusions

P.P.S. these notes are being copied from paper that i made during my first read through, also this novel will be following the manga not anime where they had different endings.

I will only post the novel after i have made 10 or more chapters updates will be when i feel like it, these notes will be updated in the future, because i have only read up to volume 9 and am what for the 16 other volumes to finish being shipped

SPOILER ALERT if you have note read or watched soul eater these notes may spoil plot points/events

1. Meister's are people who can see other peoples souls or their own, they wield demon weapons

2. Demon weapons are people with the ability to turn into weapons

3. Demon weapons were first made by a witch

4. Demon weapons evolve into death scythes after eating 99 human souls and 1 witch soul 

5. Personality and emotions come from soul or are at least reflected in the soul

6. In order for a Meister to wield a demon weapon their soul wavelengths/ personality must match or accept each other 

7. Weapons are physically stronger then A Meister but they work better as amps (increasing power) for a Meister's soul wavelength

8. Meister's are better at manipulating their Soul wavelengths, advanced/talented Meister's can be their own amps to uses techniques Ex: Blackstar's Big Wave, Cid's Living End, Steins Palm attack i believe its called Soul Menace

9. Weapon's that are advanced are talented can also manipulate their soul wavelength to perform techniques as shown by Justin and Chainsaw guy

10. Soul wavelength needs to match to preform a positive out come (demon weapon and Meister partners)

11. Soul wavelengths that are the same preform a neutral outcome (Stein canceling black stars big wave)

12. Soul wavelength that don't match preform a negative outcome (normal attacks, backlash, demon weapons feeling hot or heavy, ect)

13. There has been no gauge for total soul power, those who are physically strong seem to have bigger/stronger souls. So we can assume physical strength/ stamina = soul size/power

14. So physical training can grow soul power as seen from Black Star, but stein says everyone has their own way to grow their soul. So growing stronger in the soul can increase physique and vise versa 

15. During the exam it was said "A sound [Soul] dwells within a sound [Mind] and sound [Body]" So by doing what you feel is right/following desires and working out can improve the soul Ex: Black Star training to be the best and Makas desire to grow strong WITH soul

16. Soul Resonance is a feedback loop where the weapon receives the soul wavelength "amps" it and sends it to the Meister, the Meister then sends it back again constantly growing the wavelengths/techniques power. 

17. Every living thing has a soul, depending on what happens to ones mind and body can change the way a soul looks, like when Black Star uses the demonic soul he gets black markings on his soul.

18. Meister's levels are 1 star, 2 star, 3 star they are determined by 

19. School is called DWMA "Death weapon Meister Academy"

20. Blackstar as a Quote that remind me of Gojo from JJK it's "Sky Above, Sky Below, I alone stand Almighty"

21. It seems While weapons weapons can manipulate their own wavelength they and use techniques they can't amp their own wavelength as much. Example is Liz and Patty using each other without kid

22. Demon weapons need souls to evolve as previously been stated and Frankenstein has even said it may be the witch souls that allow the change not Meister's seeing as a witch made the weapons. My theory is that its easier for a weapon to have a Meister because they just have to amp the wavelength and not all weapons have the strength to fight on their own/ preform techniques. My other Theory is as i have quoted about soul resonance the feedback may help the quality of the evolution or cause a gradual increase in the size/power of the soul

23. Witch/ magic powers seems to be based of a animal or element the only exception I've seen so far is Blair but her magic is based off of a living thing Pumpkins. Examples Medusa: snakes, Wolf man: Ice and Space from lead witches eye, Lead witch: space.

24. Kyukon water can suck out a persons soul wavelength, and it seems power of a wavelength is limited by soul size/ body. Ex: when Blackstar is injured using his big wave hurts his body more due to being unable to handle wavelength strength

25. Weapons can also improve Meister's control Ex: Spirt helping stein with soul suture

26. Soul Suture is a technique to use your wavelength whether in you body or a opponents to sew or suture them to walls/items/floors the body is touching

27. Meister's can see souls their own and/or others and also sense them depending on Meister's ability

28. Black Blood, comes from demon sword Ragnarok, sword was made from the over hunting of souls. Gives ability to force soul resonance and makes demon weapons tempted to devour the souls of their Meister, also eats away at the Meister's mind

29.Kishin, a being who gains power through eating good souls

30. Good souls increase power

31.Star Clan is black stars clan, they would do anything for money before being wipe out by DWMA

32. Seems like eating a Kishin egg soul (soul that if not stopped will become a Kishin) but its possible that its due to Tsubaki being related to the Kishin egg or the fact her clan is the original demon weapons

33. Madness wavelength, is produced by a Kishin, makes people more susceptible to failing into madness 

34.Atlantis was real in this world and seems to be a enemy of Death before sinking to the bottom of the ocean

35. Czech republic has a village made up of 80% enchanters called Loew Village

36. Enchanter are people who made clay golem puppets. They use magic from traditional glove to move/mold/knead the clay

37.In the timeline the first demon weapon and oldest golem were made 800 years before the Kishins release

38. Magic can put souls into objects/animals

Ex: oldest golem, medusas snake,

39. 3 witches called the gorgon sisters, oldest is Arachnophobia, Medusa should be the youngest no mention of the middle sister yet

40.Arachnid used other witch souls to make the demon weapons being branded a heretic 

41. Book of Eibon is a book of demon tools design, Deaths full name is Eibon Death, Death made demon tools and was called a sorcerer. This comes from the fisherman guy in the train.
