Worst day

(Soul POV)

When I got to my room, I slammed the door, bent down and began crying, this will be my first time crying so hard like this for the fact that my dad give me a thunderous slap for the first time all because of my mom makes me super mad.

I got up from the ground to wash my face in the washroom and also to freshen up. On my way, I trip and fear on my palm and my knee but instead of feeling the pains on where I fell down, I felt it in my head, I felt like I was hitting my head against the wall. I crapped my head open I tried to wish the door to my washroom but each time I fall things down. The pain was so unbearable that I began shouting. The door to my washroom was no where to be found. I was trying so hard to look for it but I could not find it. I wanted back onto floor with my knees my hands where on my head. I closed my eyes and I saw this little girl with wine hair sitting which animals close to a chest crying this time I could not reach her because of the severe pain in my head I bent down in pain as tears rolled down my cheek. Then someone came to the little girl and carried her, she was about to turn around when I had this banging noise which made my eyes open. I was lying flat on the ground, I could hear my mom begging me to open the door and my dad was hitting the door I tried to stand up to open to door because I could remember clearly that I did not lock the door but while trying to get up I fell back to the ground with my knees and my palm. I slowly raised my head up because I was still in serious pain, tears were dripping form my eyes, I looked at the door.

' Please, please open ' I whisper

I was begging the door to open. Miraculously, the door began to open, the door was now widely open someone came to switch on the lights, when I raised my head up all I could see was my mom I wanted her beside me at that particular moment .

' My dear are you okay' my nanny came to me

' Mom' I whisper.

My dad ran to meet me but all I wanted at that time was my mom even if I don't know the reason why. My dad made me rest my head on both his chest and hand we were still on the floor, he kept asking me if I was okay but what I needed was my mom. My vision was getting blurr

' Mom, mom, Mom' I was whispering.

My dad heard me and told my mom to come and hold me the way he did. At first my mom hesitated at first but when my dad told her that I was whispering her name, she came and took me from the hands of my dad, when I saw her I smiled and touched her cheeks slowly with my left hand, and slowly everything went black out.

( Mrs. Amelia POV)

When I saw Soul in that condition, I was shocked, her eyes were beyond red maybe because she cried, her room was so messy. I knew she would only want her father so I decided to stay by the door crying. We deprived her of her freedom for the past thirteen years. She has not meet anyone except for her dad, nanny and I not even her family members. As her mom I was to ask her what happened but my stupid tears came again, I allowed her father slap her. The guilt was too much to take so I decided to leave when her dad called me and told me to come and hold her I hesitated at first but when he said that she was calling me I went to her I bent down to hold her, I can't remember the last time I held her this way, she smiled and touched my cheeks, then she fainted. I held her tight and started crying. Damien carried her and put her on the bed. We called a doctor to come and examine her, the doctor told us that he did not find anything wrong with her but he gave us a drug saying that it might just be fatigue. Damien accompanied the doctor to the doctor while her nanny and I changed soul clothes cause she was soaked with sweat.

When we finished, she was wearing her nightgown. When I touched her forehead to see her temperature was super high, I told my nanny to bring me cold water and towel for me. When she brought it I used it on Soul, I deeped the towel in the water and put it on her forehead, but I found out that the more I put the cold towel in her the more her temperature got high like she was on fire. What shocked me was that the water and the towel was now hit, I could not hold her, I was scared so I went to call her father. When I told him about soul condition he immediately ran to the kitchen to prepare something then he ran upstairs and gave it to her, he opened her mouth and put it directly into her throat and he used the remaining to rub her body, in the next two minutes she was okay.

I lied down beside Soul and place my hand on her tommy and so did Damien, he placed his hand on mine and I peck led her forehead.

' I will take my leave ' nanny Grace said and left.

We closed our eyes and slept. Her sixteen years old birthday was a total disaster.

( Mr. Damien POV)

The next morning, I opened my eyes and saw Soul sitting on the bed with her knees close to her chest, she was resting her head on her knees. I want to tap her but decided to call her name.

'Soul how are you feeling ' I asked in a very calm tone.

She did not reply me and she just stood up and went to the washroom and closed the door. Immediately, her mom woke up and asked where Soul is. I told that soul is in the washroom.

' But why do you have to slap her'

' Amelia try to understand it was out of anger' I said

Just then Soul came out of the washroom her body was soaked with water. Her eyes were kinda of swollen.

' I want to see my nanny please call her '

' Dear what is it you want I can get it for you'. Amelia said

' I want my nanny'.

'Soul I am sorry for what happened yesterday, I didn't mean to slap you ' I said

' All I want right now is my nanny '

' Soul please hear us out' Amelia said

' I said I want my nanny' she shouted at Amelia.

' Soul' I said.

Then she held her cheeks like I was about to slap her, just then we heard a knock on the door, Soul ran to the door to see her nanny and gave her a huge hug. I looked at Amelia and saw how heartbroken she was seeing nanny Grace and Soul.

' There,there Soul calm down okay come sit down'

'Mam someone is downstairs looking for you she says her name is Soul' nanny said

Amelia ignored her and went to meet soul but soul begged her to leave. So Amelia and I left the room.

( Soul POV)

My nanny was in the room with me trying to make me stop crying. Then she helped me freshen up, when we came out, she help me dress up then did my hair, when I looked at myself in the mirror I noticed that the mark thati saw in the mirror of the washroom was gone, which was strange but i paid no attention to it. I was now sitting on the bed.

' Soul tell nanny what you saw when you went outside '

' Nothing' I said

' Come on share it with nanny '

' okay, what I saw was beautiful, this city and it's people are beautiful, and I even saw the fountain and the park and it was beautiful'. I said forgetting that I was crying.

" Soul did you meet anyone' she asked.

'Yes nanny band his name is Jason he is handsome, we chatted a lot about many things new is really intelligent, but now that am back here I can't find him all he told me was his address'.

' So what his address ' nanny asked.

' Num 13 galaxy estate ' I said.

' That was the estate I stayed before coming to live with you'

' Really that's great you can explain to me how I can get there and you will cover up for me when I go and visit him' I said

'No young lady I am not gonna do any such thing'

' Nanny only this once' I said

' No I am sorry' nanny said.

' Yeah when I thought you would be able to fulfill this simple dream of mine but you are always like my dad and my mom' I said and lied down.

' Soul I am scared what if something happens to you and I can't come get you and cover up for you at the same time please try to understand' nanny said.

I reason with what she and I understand her .

' Yeah you are right, so what can we do.

' How about we wait for your parents to leave and then I promise you can go meet him but with me by your side okay' nanny said.

' fine but when will they leave' I asked

' When you forgive them' she said

I looked at her and said

' If that is the only way the only way then I have a plan' I said and smiled.
