Sophia

I was all alone, trying to survive until I met Lara who's also sister to Blake.

I dialed Lara's line shaking my head out of my thoughts and after the second ring, she picked up. "Hey gir" Lara chirped on the other side of the phone with an excited voice which brought a smile to my own face also.

"How are you and how's Blake doing also?" I replied her with the same happy voice. "We're both fine Sophie" she replied. I love it when she uses my nick name in addressing me.

" I was just wondering if both of you are free so that we can have lunch together, it's been a while we hung out together" I said on the phone hoping for a positive reply.

"Alright, sure. I'll let Blake know. Just text me the address" Lara, squeaked on the phone. "That's great then. I'll text you the address now" I replied her hanging up the call.

Both Blake and Lara haven't asked me questions about where I work because they still think I'm still working as a waitress in a cafe but I was fired two weeks ago for reasons that are best know to my employer and reasons that are known to me also.

There's a man that is always harassing me in the cafe whenever he comes around to either eat something or to harass me as, either ways, he doesn't leave the cafe with offending me.

I told my boss about it but he wouldn't listen. " He is our best customer considering the large tips he usually drop, so we cannot afford to lose him for whatsoever" my boss would reply with his grumpy sickening voice any time I report to him.

The last one the man did that got me fired was when he slapped my but cheeks and try to take a squeeze at them. I immediately turned around and brought my palm on his face hitting him so hard.

I guess he didn't see that coming "If you ever so much come near me again, I will rip your balls off and make sure you feed on them" I threatened him with anger and menance laced in my voice before storming out of his presence.

And just as soon as I got up to the counter, my sickening grumpy boss didn't even wait a second before firing me. " You Can Go To Hell" I yelled at his face before grabbing my bag and stomped out the cafe and that's how I met myself in Parker industries.

After hanging up the call, I texted her the address. It's just the dinner across the Parker Industries. "Got it, we'll be there in fifteen minutes" she replied my text.

After changing out of the janitors uniform, I got into the elevator and clicked the number for the ground floor. I stepped out of the elevator and the cold air hit me making my hair cover my face.

I roughly tucked my hair into a messy bun and cross the street to get to the dinner. After entering, I noticed its not really packed and I was happy for that.

I found a table closed to the window to get a better view of the cars and people passing by. After some minutes of me settling down, I saw Lara and Blake coming towards the dinner.

I waved my hands to them through the window once I saw them. They made their way to the table I was sitting after entering inside the diner.

Lara practically jumped on me when she saw me "you just forgot about us" she huffed bringing out her bottom lip in a pouty form folding her arms across her chest. "I'm so sorry" I apologized.

" I've just been busy lately that I barely have time for myself" I said with a sad face and a pout on my lips so that she can forgive me.. Okay.. okay, Alright.. I understand but never ignore us for long like that again" she scolded me.

"Alright captain" I saluted her making her grin like a girl who has been gifted a candy. "Hey" I finally acknowledged Blake after dealing with Lara's scolding.

He brought me into a tight hug that I wasn't expecting. It's like he's telling me so many things through the hug. If he continues hugging me like this, I might pass out.

"Hey Blake, let her go; you're already crushing her with your bone crushing hug" Lara scolded him. "I missed you so much" he muttered silently. I missed you too I whispered.

"You might be my brother, but if you crush her with your hugs again, I won't hesitate to spank your head" she glared at him angrily. It's alright. " I'm just glad that you guys are here" I said looking into Lara's and Blake eyes.

We all took our sits when a waitress came to take our orders. I noticed she was bashing her fake eyelashes towards Blake but Blake didn't didn't even spare her a glance.

No doubt, Blake is really a handsome guy with his blonde hair and green grass colored eyes which is so captivating and that's why the waitress couldn't resist him.

After she took our orders and left of course after glaring at me, I kicked Blake with my foot under the table to get his full attention even though he was already starring at me.

"You shouldn't have done that you know " I glared at him folding my hands across my chest keeping a straight face. "What did I do?" Blake ask innocently. I just stared at him with a look that says *are you really dumb".

That beautiful waitress was trying to get your attention but you just ignored her like the rest of the ladies. How will you get your self a girlfriend if you continue to ignore girls at this rate? I asked him sounding fakely irritated.

"I only got eyes for one girl and she can't even see me" he muttered silently under his breath and shrugged his shoulders like he said nothing but I heard him clearly.

I was about to question what he just said when the waitress brought our food. I just sighed deeply and brushed it off.
