Chapter 158: The Need

The hunger was still there, but now Eny could think carefully, he needed to eat a soul, at least one, he knew he needed to do so.

He was now a Royal God, on the same renking as Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus- The Big Three, Gods who had Domains, or places that they had control of and where their power was unmatchable (unless you were more powerful than, then you wouldn't need a domain, but your domain would be your safe heaven), Poseidon had the sea, Hades had the Underworld, and Zeus had the Sky. He could have a domain if he wanted, but he would need to take control over it- Pruno probably could take a Forest as his Domain, while Luke can take any Dimension as his Domain, but what could he take as his domain? Looking at his domains: [Time], [Monster], [Love], [Eldritch], and [Chaos]- What domain could he take? Probaly due to his [Love] divinty, he would share control over the domains Luke and Pruno would have, making him a co-owner? Something like that.

But now that he had gotten rid of both Nug and Yeb, they had to stop Azathoth entering the Universe somehow... Could he lock Azathoth inside his {Box}? Possibly, but that would be ridiculous to try, he is a Conceptual God, above the comprehension of Mortals and weaker Gods, but thanks to his [Eldritch] Divinity, Enychta could comprehend what Azathoth was- He was the beggining and the end, a rebirth, that would destroy to bring a new beggining, but would also bring chaos, which was good for him, but bad. Because if Azathoth enters this universe, everyone he loves would die- Since the Eldritch beings would take over everything, and evryone that isn't an Eldritch Being would die.

So regardless of what he thought, he had to stop them anyway, since he would also die- Because he was not part of Azathoth's little family or something like that.

But he had his family. He will protect them, with his life if necessary.

Lucifer watched as his son's monstrous form raised it's tendrils as a black cube appeared before him, sucking him inside.

He didn't know what happened, because seconds later, Enychta appeared again, in his human form- As if he didn't just vanish from thin air into a black cube! "Eny...?" Pruno hesitantly approached his beloved, who just looked at him in wonder and a huge smile on his lips- "Wait, Eny?" Enychta wrapped his arms around the waist of the pink-haired God, who had a smile on his face as small tears dripped down the corner of his eyes as Luke approached them as well, being hugged by Enychta, who began laughing as he kissed their foreheads, he kissed them so much, their bond shared their happiness as he finally was free from what felt like decades, centuries even! His body was big still, on the verge of transforming into his demonic form, but he stopped himself from doing so when an awkward cough caught his attention.

He turned his face to stare at Nyx and Lucifer, who were just... There, awkwardly staring at the trio who were bathingin each other's affection. "Dad, Mom." Enychta smiled, albeit it sounded weird on his tongue- Those words were strange now, no, seeing them together was strange, even more so when Lucifer was just looking at them with an awkward smile, his black sunglasses unable to hide the red eyes behind his sunglasses, albeit his alburn hair was messy, his eyes still carried that flame of Hell. "Son..." Lucifer huffed and tilted his head before sighing: "Enychta... I see that you got control over yourself again... I'm sorry, for, you know..." Lucifer didn't apologize often, he is not a man of apologies, since he is the literal king of hell!

"I understand... Thank you, both of you, for helping them find me again." Enychta's smile was sincere, his words even more, and he was not lying (Since Lucifer could tell if he was, indeed, lying), Nyx was sincerely taken aback by her son's thanks, after all, she didn't doanything on this... "But i-" Befoer she could even dismiss his words, they locked eyes and she felt for the first time, what motals would describe as Opia- The feeling of intensity as you lock eyes with someone, which can bring vulnerability, which she was... She was feeling vulnerable, as if Enychta knew that she was doing more than she should do.

"You are litereally keeping this universe up, mother, don't dismiss my thanks." Enychta knew, he could feel it, after he ate Tsuthoggua, his connection with "Night" increased even more, he didn't have a [NIght] Divinity, but it seemed it was developing, a small sappling that will grow into a beautiful night tree... But with this increase and the fact that he was a God, he could tell.

The sky was breaking apart.

The universe was breaking apart, and Nyx was keeping it together, because the 'knocking' on the barrier protecting this universe is damaging the universe itself, which wouldn't matter for the Eldrich Deities, because that's what they want to happen. And Nyx, who is what mortals conceive to be the unknown, is holding it all together due to both her Primordial Status and her divinity, which applies to the entire Universe. So, essentially she is taking damage every single second and using most of her focus to bring the universe together, but unless they deal with this quickly, or the barrier will fall (Which means Azathoth enters the universe) or the universe breaks.

Which means they lose in the end.

He needs to do something, he needstime, he needs- "Wait, time?" Whispering to himself, could he- God of Time, be able to turn back time, hit rewind, and get more time? No, it wouldn't work unless he also turns the Outer Space back on time, which would need more power than he has, because he is only a Royal Ranking God, he needs more power if he wants to change outer space, because with the power he has, he is only able to affect the Universe's time, and not Outer Space, where time doesn't exist. And he would need to create time itself on outer sapce to affect creatures that don't have a concept of time.

He needs more power.

And he also needs his lovers affection right now.
