Kakuzu I

The missing-nin Kakuzu wore no shirt, revealing all the stitches on his torso, dark-green, ruffed up pants, and black shinobi sandals. He was a tall man that towered over most and he had tanned skin that complemented his muscular body.

The creepy thing about him was his face, His eyes had an unusual coloring, he had green irides, no pupils, and red sclera, and his mouth was stitched together at the edges giving him a Glasgow smile.

His personality was even worse as he was a greedy individual, that planned his life around the highest profit he could make. Even though he was greedy, he was a cautious person that wasn't arrogant, and he always kept a level head. These were the perks of being in his seventies, and how he had survived to live this long.

All thought Kakuzu was an old man, his body didn't say the same. It was because of his forbidden technique, and his modified body that helped him greatly improve his defense, he was like a zombie.

"Are you after my head too".

"No, not really" I replied, 'that half-dead person is probably one of Kakuzu's targets'.

"Then get lost before I take your head, this is my bounty".

"Hmm actually taking your bounty would be nice, if I had all that Ryo I could live comfortably for a while," I said teasing him.

"Damn brat, who do you think you are" he shouted and threw a kunai with a string of paper bombs at me. It was a cheap trick but Kakazu thought that I was just another small fry going after my head, so there was no need to waste time on me.

The last thing he saw was my body being blown to bits, I didn't have any time to react, was what he thought. He carried on walking thinking I had died until.

I emerged out of the ground, this shocked him so he jumped back. As he jumped back in shock he didn't have time to react to the kick that my clone sent at him from behind.

He realized last second and he twisted mid-air to make the kick connect with his arms which parried the blow, instead of his head.

"Boom!" he was sent flying from my kick, he crashed into a tree before coming to a stop. When the dust cleared he was on his knees. He had used the poor half-dead soul as a shield to protect himself from the tree.

He looked up to see my expressionless face staring at him, "can you still dance" I asked him.

I could see the hate and anger in his eyes when he heard me, "tch your dead bastard", he detached his arms and sent them flying at me. His arms were still attached to his body using black thread-like things, one of his forbidden Jutsu.

I sidestepped letting his arms shoot past me then I unsheathed my katana and did an upward slash. As I cut the threads connecting to his arms, they simply grew back and connected again.

I jumped back 'what a troublesome Jutsu, not only can he not die, but he also has an indestructible body that can grow back'.

It was stated that Kakuzu was immortal but I knew that he couldn't be, there must be a weakness to his Jutsu and I just had to find it.

He threw down the dead weight on his shoulder. Then his back started to move and come alive. There were four animal masks, Kakuzu bent forward and the masks came alive and escaped his body.

'Oh an interesting Jutsu, it looks like he's getting serious'. If I had to describe Kakuzu's pets, they were like black animals drawn by a two-year-old kid but instead of ink, they were made up of the same black threads as his body.

They might look odd but they were definitely dangerous, one of them spat a fireball at me then to enhance the firepower, a different masked animal created a huge gust of wind directed at me.

The heat was intense, it was something I could withstand but I couldn't say the same for my clothes. I jumped to the side burning the edge of my cloak.

As I avoided the huge fireball, a powerful stream of water amplified by lighting, struck me straight in my chest.

"Poof!" my shadow clone exploded. I emerged from the ground and stabbed the mask of the animal that controlled the fire. I jumped out the way to avoid a streak of lighting.

I slid back and span my Katana around "is this all you have, Immortal Kakuzu" I asked slightly teasing him.

I was constantly keeping track of his fighting style to try and find his weakness. I was also keeping track of his abilities, and I realized that all his pet animals, each had a different elemental ability.

One had fire control which was the most deadly so I took it down first. Then the other three had wind, lightning, and water.

Kakuzu looked at his now dead pet with the shattered mask, "tch you bastard, I'll replace him with your beating heart, and I'll rip your organs right out of your body".

I quickly thought and connected the dots, 'oh so that's how it works, if that's the case then does that mean he had five hearts, but now he has four'.

I figured out the trick to Kakuzu's immortality, he could use his threads to tear into a victim's body, steal their still functioning organs, and integrate them into his own body, thus extending his life.

Kakuzu used this method to steal hearts from powerful Shinobi and was able to store up to four spare hearts in his body at any given time, meaning that all hearts must stop functioning, for Kakuzu to die.

I was able to deduct all this from our short exchange of moves, also he gave me a huge clue when he said that he would replace it with my heart.

I also figured out that they would be able to take the previous owners' strongest elemental affinity and they would be able to use the same Jutsu. So the stronger the opponent, the stronger his pet would become if they eat the opponent's heart.

All these thoughts ran through my head and not even a second passed, then I saw his three remaining animals creating a combined attack.

They shot the combined attack at me, and it was as fast as lightning. I activated my ribcage Susanoo just before the attack reached me. 'Susanoo'.

Everything in the surrounding thirty meters was destroyed. It left a huge crater where I was standing. Kakuzu was a cautious person so he was still on guard, in case I escaped and planned a sneak attack. It wasn't the first time I had pulled that trick on him so he didn't want to fall for it again.

A shiver shot down Kakuzu's spine, "what is the murderous aura, I haven't felt like this since my fight against the first Hokage". Something he thought he would never feel again, resurfaced itself deep in his heart, this was fear.

He was tense staring at the cloud of smoke left behind from his attack. As the smoke began to clear, there was a figure made of a dark red aura, slowly being revealed.

A few seconds later he could see it. There was a twelve-meter figure in the shape of a skeleton that formed from the waist to its head. It was a dark crimson red color, and it had two black flaming eyes staring into his soul.

Then the next thing he heard sent another shiver down his spine, and he actually started to sweat out of nervousness.

"HAHAAHAhhaaa!, that was exciting, you could have killed me you know, HAAHAHa!" my evil laugh echoed throughout the surrounding forest.
