Power of Death Knight

In Freedom, players often refer themselves the most superior race. Well in actuality, they are not wrong.

But because of the layout of the game, humans are the weakest race out there.

Because players has the ability to revive after death, they can abuse human's racial trait: [Infinite Growth]

In terms of base power, humanity is at the lowest of the low, it is just their racial trait that helps them climb above others.

Father and mage girl felt the break of shackles, but instead of gratitude, even more fear emerges from their heart.

"It's over..."

They accepted their demise, it is common knowledge that when all of your buffs suddenly disappeared, it means a high rank monster is nearby.

Devil puff also staggered for a while, suddenly it's movements became fast, containing bloodlust.

With a swift move, Father and mage girl were beheaded in one strike.

Devil puff picked up the heads and eats it hastily. It ignored the disappearing dead bodies, clearly it knows player's body is not worth it.

Tremble!

It's not even a second since the player's death, the ground shakes.

The knight covered in death continues to walk in a straight line, destroying everything and anyone in it's way.

Devil puff returned to it's everchanging form. Like a true mushroom, it's a fungi, a very territorial fungus, it won't let this black knight destroy it's habitat.

It launched several tentacles infected debuffs, a invisible mist of paralysis also came out. But all of it is in vain, a simple skeleton won't be affected by debuffs let alone a Death Knight.

The death knight turned it's head to the devil, it raised his big greatsword, attempting to slash the insect.

Unfortunately, death knight's stat is capped at it's creator's level, in front of the devil it was slow.

Boom!

Even though it was slow, the power contained in that slash can be seen visibly.

The ground trembles again, leaving a hole on the ground. Knowing the death knight can't hit him, devil puff turned to escape. It saw how it's attacks are ineffective, how dare it continued a losing battle.

Death Knight didn't chased the puff, it's master's order was to kill everything in this direction, not to chase some bugs.

But it raised the sword, gripping the hilt and throwed it in the direction devil ran off.

Death Knight waited for a little while, the black greatsword magically returned in it's hand.

Covered in green blood and white cotton like fur, it wiped out clean with a single slash in the air.

It continued to walk in a straight direction, spreading death whenever it goes.

Overwhelmed by the series of prompts, Lakon stopped slashing an oversized turtle.

Long list of monsters killed by death knight made Lakon proud like a parent seeing his son winning a competition.

At first, he's a bit skeptical about death knight, maybe it will kill monsters around level 30 then die later.

The experience given to him boosted his level to 43 which means death knight killed many high level monsters on his way just to level up this quick.

"Perhaps, if i followed death knight, i can upgrade this..."

Glancing at the bone sword in his hands, a sudden thought emerged.

This bone sword is made by combining the bones of various monsters Lakon killed.

An hour ago, he was curious how his other skills work.

First, Fallen Guards Summoning is a life saving skill, it summons 10 skeleton guards circling him.

Like Death Knight, they kneeled when they saw him. He tested their capabilities and found out it's the same level as him, just they are more close combat oriented.

All skeleton guards spawned in with a shield, as for main weapon, it's random.

Most of them used swords, others used spears and hammers even another shield.

He also found that you can change the weapons but their performance will drop significantly compared to the weapon defaultly assigned to them.

Second, Bone Synthesis is like weapon production skill. When he combined two thighbone, it became larger and it increased the rank to Uncommon.

Different rank of bones can't be synthesize together, he tried to make a dagger bone but it failed because the other one bone is Uncommon.

Forming a weapon also takes time and knowledge, bone combination is not a problem thanks to the skill, the problem is what function of every bone do and what possible combos work.

The first time he successfully made a bone dagger, using a collar bone of Young Two tailed Gorilla as a grip, the dagger shattered when he swang it.

Finally those three passives, Touch of Wither is very useful for decreasing so much health. Unfortunately, if the enemy is killed by Touch of Wither, it won't give any exp and don't leave a corpse behind.

Aura of Death, is like a additional DE recovery skill. As for concealing identity thing, he doesn't tried it.

Due to his beefy health, Lakon hadn't tried Ethereal Body either.

"I guess he went this way?"

Lakon went back, tracing where death knight rushed in.

Going back at the outer area of the forest, he met with other players discussing something.

"Don't you want to join Andoy? The reward for killing Devil puff is really big, 120 golds!"

"Nah! Aren't they wiped out by that monster, even if i join, my level are still 38, I'm afraid i might be a baggage there"

"Well, your loss! Father and Jabo are in that raid, they are both rare class plus last time i check there's at least 300 people coming, even that rumored Death Knight won't be an issue!"

After the middle-aged man said that, he left the other man.

Lakon perked up his ears when he heard the man, he approaches him for more information.

"Excuse me man, i heard you said there would be a raid, where is it?"

"Oh, the raid was still in meeting, it's in the center of Cornia plaza, i think you can still register, the reward is 120 golds just for participating!"

"As for the raid place, i believe it's in the heart of dark forest, i don't know where exactly but Father and others know"

Middle-aged man said truthfully, his words felt reliable.

"Thanks man" Lakon threw a common bone dagger at the man.

The man looks at the leaving figure of Lakon then turned around the other man with a smirk.

"See Jaso, even that noob with no equipment has more courage than you!"

"Whatever, good luck on your defeat!"
