If you were given the chance to be queen, will you take it? Red Springfield’s normal life turned upside down with the arrival of a flower boy and a warrior. She was chosen as a candidate to become the next Faey Queen! Vampire? Werewolf? Angels and Demons? Little Mermaid? Tinkerbell? All of them, faeys! Her whole childhood fairytales, down the drain in just one night! A once in a lifetime opportunity was given to her but will Red pursue the treacherous road or will her lack of self-confidence be her downfall? Throw in a dark faey and daemons who messes up the faey queen trials (making her question everything she believes in), and we have one heck of an adventure here. As Red delves deeper into the world of Faeys, she soon discovers that being a queen doesn't always come with a sparkly crown and that love was not even an option for her! But what if her feelings get the better of her? Will she succeed or will the promise of love be more tempting? ========== YUMMY EXCERPT: Red and Ari were lost in the moment of the sweet kiss that they shared. The magical glow of the moss around them created an eerily beautiful contrast of shadows and lights on the two faey’s faces. It was exhilarating, their heartbeats pounding to break free and touch the other. Red’s hand played into Ari’s hair and somehow, her delirious self pressed to deepen what had started to be a delicate kiss. Red’s attack made Ari loose himself and all his self-restraint. Everything that he had convinced himself away from, all thrown out of the window with just Red’s needy touch and wanting mouth. Ari pinned Red to the ground and their bodies were now pressed onto each other, legs intertwined as the elfen warrior cupped the face of his queen. Red was ecstatic, the high of her fever somehow making her heat up and crave for physical contact. Her eyes were closed and rolled as Ari’s lips traced the lines of her jaw, down to her neck, and then up to meet her wanting mouth yet again. Her breath hitched as she felt thousands of butterflies fluttered in her stomach and Ari’s hand unintentionally jerked away thinking he had hurt her. He moved his hand to lean on the ground but had accidentally brushed the belt bag that contained the eldermist berries. A bunch of the berries tumbled out and tiny rolling noises echoed. Suddenly, Ari opened his eyes and realized what had happened. Red’s eyes fluttered momentarily in confusion as Ari ended the kisses and in her dizzy and foolish moment, she too came to grasp the severity of what they had done.

Lost

Arikyer was at loss as to how a simple spell had gone haywire because of a cat.

His affinity with air came in very useful during the fall and he didn't have much difficulty in landing safely. He did acquire some scratches here and there from tree branches but aside from that he was totally fine. Miraculously, the cat just appeared from the bushes, meowing nonstop, which quite perplexed him how the heavy feline could have survived the fall assuming he had arrived in the area mid-air like how Ari had.

He observed his surroundings looked a lot like a tropical forest in a deserted island. There was lush greens and the forest floor was damp. Perhaps it had rained the other night. The trees were gigantic natural skyscrapers with its canopy looking like a widespread umbrella, shielding the flora and fauna below from the relentless heat of the sun.

Oh dear. Red and Archie weren't around.

"Red! Archie! Where are you?!" he called out as he amplified his voice with magic.

If people saw him, they would have been confused with how cupping one's hands around their mouth can sound like a promodizer using a megaphone to advertise kitchen gadgets at the supermarket. He laughed at the thought and quickly dismissed the idea from his head.

Supposing they got separated and arrived in the same fashion as he did in the middle of teleportation, Ari can't risk going back without them. Archie was adept in various Low and High magic – but falling from the sky was another thing. Red on the other hand made him anxious. Hopefully, both of them ended up together safe and sound like Ari and the cat.

The sabotaging criminal, Sir Arthur, was now comfortably resting on his shoulders as he made his way around the thick foliage of the forest. He had climbed up the tallest tree in his vicinity but to no avail – a vast blanket of green was all he saw. Down south, a group of mountain ranges formed like the back spikes of a dragon impeded his view.

With a loud sigh of frustration, he slowly descended back to the forest floor, he still had no fucking clue where they are – more so where he is.

He had salvaged whatever he could from the scattered bags and supplies that tangled in the tree branches, dangling like monkeys teasing him of important things that were deliberately stolen. Talk about inconveniences. He managed to get half a week's worth of food for one and the medicine kit Granny Cane included in their baggage. Bless her kind heart.

As if on cue, Sir Arthur meowed and licked his cheeks with his sandpaper-like tongue, reminding Ari that the cat demands for food rations too. He purred and seemed to be happy when Ari scratched the chubby feline's chin softly.

"You be grateful big fella. If I wasn't too fond of cats, I wouldn't have bothered taking you with me. You totally botched our plans and now it looks like we are lost in an unknown island." He laughed in an almost hysterical manner.

Sir Arthur bobbed his head, his tail swishing in a curious manner, thinking maybe why the heck was Ari laughing like an idiot.

"Ah, since you are full of fat and meat maybe it would be fine if we can just eat you when there will be no more food left." He teased the black cat.

Sir Arthur, surprisingly understanding the underlying threat to Ari's optimistic tone, suddenly shrieked and hissed, dug his claws on Ari's shoulder, and scrambled to jump at his head as if trying to escape back to the bushes where he had popped his head when he heard Ari descending from the tops.

"What the actual fuck, you mental cat!" Ari yelped as Sir Arthur's razor sharp nails left scratches on his shoulders, back, and face. "I was just kidding you big bloke!"

"I swear if you won't.. OW! Stop.. Alright fly high kitty!" he said.

"Asiora Leviateum!"

Wind swirled around Sir Arthur while he yelped in panic, his hair poofed like a threatened pufferfish, as he was lifted by invisible hands upside down. Ari looked him straight in the eyes, light green to blue and golden slits, and glared at the cat.

Sir Arthur's hissing stopped when he saw the intensity of Ari's glower.

"Meowwww" the cat said in a soft, apologetic tone. His eyes formed into big balls of innocence and cuteness Ari almost forgot the cat made him into a scratching post.

"Ok now. No more of those or I else-" he made a slashing sign across his neck and left the threat unfinished.

"Meow." Sir Arthur replied, begging for forgiveness. Ari let him down slowly and continued on with his scouting of the terrain, the fat cat now behaved and one backpack full of scavenged items in tow.

A while ago as he rummaged for camping gears on the crash site, Ari only got to retrieve a hammock and a flashlight. Everything else he could manage to carry was packed inside his backpack. He hopes that wherever the two are, they have enough resources to go by until he finds them.

Though, he suspects if ever the two were teleported together, the probability of a fight is as sure as every living being's necessity to breath. Their bickering was never-ending unless Ari arbitrates and break them apart. Archer was an incorrigible clown while Red was a super sensitive volcano that erupts without prior notice. It would be a miracle that in one day, the two wouldn't be arguing about something – anything. Even the simplest of things can kickstart the domino effect of a war.

They were like two siblings who always get on each other's nerves. Sometimes Ari actually believed that instead of him being the sibling, it was actually Red and Archer who were more suited as brother and sister.

How funny. The three of them were like a little home in the middle of a war for supremacy.

"Come on now big fella." Ari talked to the cat purring on shoulders, "Let's go find the clown and the volcano."

Just as Ari finished his sentence, a slight rustle from afar made him jump back and hide in the thickets and tall grass. Crouched low like a cat hunting its prey, Ari watched as outlines of epicurean women emerged from the flora.

Ari stifled a gasp of amazement. He had never seen the likes of them up this close.

Beautiful, sensuous, and captivating women of nature.

Nymphs.
