"Hannah, come here and eat breakfast." Mom cried.
"I'm going now." She smiles, slowly.
The scene was familiar, but strange. This moment, I know this moment, but it's not the one I know, I think. Something about it is really strange. Odd.
"Don't go out today Hannah." She locked the door.
I fell silent. Bad feelings swept into my chest. I hurriedly ran downstairs and went to the door. As I went near the door, the time came to a complete halt. Everything froze as I looked into the door handle.
A Key.
Hand.
Blood.
How could I forget? I have been dreaming of the same nightmare since I was a child, but this, this dream is new to me. This is not normal. I held my breath and jolted myself to wake up, but I can't.
I saw a silhouette of a girl, pale and bloody.
I averted my gaze into the clock.
[06:03]
It was nearly time for school.
I stepped back from the door. I was deep in thought as I stared at the clock.
I can't see my messy hair, my blue eyes, my small nose, and my sleep deprived expression.
I wish it was gone.
My whole body feels ice cold. I'm frozen in place. Terrified. I try to close my eyes, but for some reason, I'm unable to.
I can feel the silhouette nearing me.
She draws near my ear.
She chuckles softly.
"Do not." She exhales softly.
"Go out."
"No matter what." She steps back.
I finally recognized her voice.
My body quickly relaxes like nothing happened. I quickly looked around to find her, but she's vanished.
"Mom." My tears follow the contour of my cheeks.
"I miss you."
