Sealing the Phoenix

Once reunited again Raven asks, "How can you all do that this fast while we almost lose to them?"

"Simply said. She is a half-god, the other was trained by said half-god and the last is an indestructible alien while I'm just a special human that dates two of the three. Little hint it's not the half-god," says Jack as he locks at Ororo and asks, "I heard you can play with the weather. Are you related to Thor?"

"Not that I know," says Ororo back when Kara hits Jack from the side into the ribs

"Now it seems one of the bad guys is still missing," says Jack.

Then they hear someone fly through the air while on the other end was a man with blue skin then they see how that guy was fighting a girl that was like radiating fire around here making all five on guard as she disintegrates the blue guy.

"Is she the bad guy?" asks Jack seriously Raven with all five ready to attack.

"No, she is one of ours," says Raven who was also on guard.

"You sure about that. The power she just used was pretty evil and my staff is shivering in excitement," says Jack also excited only to see the girl fall unconscious after disintegrating the blue guy.

They join the group while dragging the four behind them and Raven asks, "Is Jean alright?"

"She just needs to sleep I think," says the man in the chair as he looks at Jack and the others only to find Black Chains around him.

"Don't even try old man. I know your power like I knew the power of those two so don't even try to get into our head," says Jack as his chains tighten up around him.

"Charles, they helped us. Can you not read their minds," says Raven serious when she turns to Jack saying, "I'm sorry about Charles. He does it unconsciously. Don't judge him for that."

"He should learn that sometimes it's better not to try to enter someones else mind without being invited into it," says Jack as his chains return.

"Where is Logan by the way?" asks Charles worried not seeing him.

"He should be around the corner he was sent flying by Magnet Man some minutes ago," says Jack as he looks at the girl named Jean and says, "I'm more worried about here."

"Not only you," says a feminine voice. Jack turns around and sees the Ancient One, who continues, "I thought it was only mutants fighting but she radiated a power that was weaker than the king itself."

"You mean she is as strong as my teacher and Shura?" asks Jack confused.

"No they are way over her she couldn't even scratch them even if the power would take over. She is the current host of the Phoenix. The Phoenix is a cosmic entity powerful enough to kill us all thank to her powers. If I had known she was on this planet I had made stricter arrangement to keep her under lock. But it seems the girl opened a door she shouldn't have opened," says the Ancient One looking at Jean while thinking what to do next.

"And who are you to judge over us," says Raven angry.

"I'm the Sorcerer Supreme the only person between the inexplicable and our world if not for us Sorcerer's this world would be in greater chaos than it is," says the Ancient One calm then she looks at Jack and says, "I will need your help in sealing the Phoenix until the girl can control its power."

"If I do it like this she will become a normal human," says Jack informing that Jean wouldn't be a mutant any longer.

"No, not physically. I need you in her mindscape she is fighting against the Phoenix right now. Once inside it should be easy for you to only seal the Phoenix while leaving the girl with her natural talents untouched," says the Ancient One hinting that Jack needed to enter Jean mindscape.

"Alright, but just a question. Does the Phoenix have anything against the Monkey?" asks Jack wanting to be prepared if that was the case.

"I don't think so but I can't say for sure. I might be old but not that old," says the Ancient One neither confirming nor denying the claim the Phoenix being an enemy of the Monkey.

"Seems I have to find out myself," says Jack as he looks at Charles and says, "I will need some help to enter her mindscape."

"Really you still can't do that on your own," says the Ancient One surprised.

"Not really a Master in Sorcery yet. I had other things to deal with than expanding my wisdom in Sorcery," says Jack.

"Alright, but I will need to connect both minds that means I need to enter yours to guide you to hers," says Charles explaining to the ones present what he was going to do.

"What if he fries Jean's brain by sending that man inside," says a boy with some exotic sunglasses.

"We don't have much time Scott. It is our only possibility to help Jean so she doesn't have to fear her own powers," says Logan that arrived.

"She can live without fearing that voice she always hears and the nightmare she has," says Charles convincing Scott to not interfere.

"The longer we wait the harder your fight will be against the Phoenix it would be wise to go now that it only awakened," says the Ancient One.

Jack opens his mind while saying, "Enter the wrong part of my mind and I will gut you."

"I won't," says Charles before entering Jack's mind making a bridge towards his. Jack enters Charles's mind and then Charles makes another bridge towards Jean's mindscape while saying, "I will be no help from here on. I hope you succeed in whatever you are going to do."

"Don't worry I fought gods before this one will most likely be a little stronger than the ones I fought before," says Jack as he walks over the bridge to enter Jean's mindscape with the chains in his hand.

Once inside he sees the redhead on the floor while the Phoenix was trying to free itself from the chains on it. Jack runs over to Jean and sees that she was alright before looking at the Phoenix while saying, "So you are the Phoenix. I thought you were bigger."

"The monkey can also talk. Just because he was stronger than I doesn't mean I can't defeat you little monkey. You don't have a hundredth of the reals power and you dare to face me. Burn for your ignorance," says the Phoenix trying to kill Jack.

"Is that all?" says Jack, who walks through the flames making it look easy when it isn't while saying, "Let's raise the stacks a bit."

The Black Chains surround the Phoenix and the Grey Chains enter the Phoenix making Jack absorb a tenth of its strength before. Realizing the chains and says, "Now we can fight." His staff appears inside his hand and Jack rushes at the Phoenix at a rapid speed that the Phoenix couldn't follow with her eyes using her instincts to tell where Jack would attack.

"Come on, don't disappoint me," says Jack as he felt excited to fight the Phoenix since he had so many Powers he wanted to use and master in this fight that could take his life.

The smile Jack was showing was creeping the Phoenix out. They fought for an hour before Jack says, "We should end this here. I need to leave and she needs to wake up."

Jack runs as fast as he possibly could to take the Phoenix by surprise and breaking his own legs by doing so but his Black Chains surrounded the Phoenix completely making it shrink into an egg of Black Chains that only had a little crack open to support Jean with a little of its power.

He then crawls over to Jean that was still unconscious and tries to wake her up with his White Chains. The moment she opened the eyes she jumped back from seeing Jack in her mindscape and Jack says, "Now that's not how you should treat someone that helped you. I lost my legs because of you, see."

"I'm sorry, but how comes you are here?" asks Jean not knowing what happened after releasing the Phoenix.

"You lost it and killed everyone," says Jack scaring Jean that was now in panic and Jack begins to laugh and says, "I'm joking. After the bad blue guy died you collapsed. But you released the thing over there. Its called Phoenix and is a powerful individual that made you it's host. I sealed it for now but it will unseal when the chains deem you worthy or you are at a risk of losing your life. So try not to kill yourself once we are out of here. Can you tell Charles to make a new bridge for me so I can return to my body."

Jean nods and a bridge appears and Jack says, "See you on the other side" Jack then returns to Charles's mind and from there to his own and then he wakes up and sees his legs also not looking that good.

"What did you do to destroy your own legs?" asks Diana worried.

"Run faster than I could. I should be fine in some weeks," says Jack with a smile that showed excitement as he feels already his body working on healing him.

Logan stretches his hand out and says, "I heard from Raven that you wanted to get paid with power if you want you can have some of mine. You will heal faster than right now."

"Wow, I would never believe to hear that from Logan," says Scott surprised by what Logan said.

"They helped us to prevent further chaos and resolve everything faster. You all will be put in the Danger Room until you can't fight any longer," says Logan angry when Jack's chains entered his body surprising him.

"Sorry there," says Jack as he absorbs a tenth of it and he feels something grow in his under that slowly came out and looked like bones claws and Jack says, "It seems the metal of yours was a modification."

"Don't ask it still haunts me," says Logan wanting to flee that conversation. When Jean wakes up in all the chaos and Helicopters begin to overfly the location. The Helis had the SHIELD logo on but neither Jack nor the Ancient One trusted them when they landed.

The SHIELD Agents surrounded them pointing their guns at them and the Mutants saying, "Hands up and don't move."

That was until Steve came out of the Heli with Peter and Natasha. Peter, who sees Jack jumps up and down and says out loud, "He is back!"

"What you missed me that much?" asks Jack, who sees Peter and they begin to talk about what happened.

"And he is?" asks Kara curious to find out.

"Your brother-in-law," says Felicia answering her making Kara walk over.

"Hello, I'm Kara Danvers and I'm the girlfriend of your brother," says Kara confusing Peter who sees Felicia straight behind them.

"Did you ditch Felicia while you were on that other Earth?" asks Peter.

"No, we are all three together," says Jack answering Peter's question.

"That... How?" asks Peter.

"Trade Secret," says Jack with a smile.
