"Are you okay?" 

Lilly Rose exhaled a deep breath but didn't tear her gaze away from the window. She heard Pete's question but she chose to ignore it. Her mind was still at the memory of breakfast she shared with Matthew. 

She had noticed a bit of changes with Matthew even before but the way he acted this morning was way more unusual than how he acted in the past. 

She had no idea on how she should react to the changes in her husband. Or if she should react at all. 

She released another big sigh. 

"How long are you going to keep on sighing like the world is perched on your shoulders?" 

Lilly Rose slowly turned to face Pete. 

"I'm so confused." 

"With what?" 

She stared at the dashboard and said. "With many things."
