Hitman-4

"It is up to you to take the first step." Ozpin ended his speech to the new students as he tried his hardest to ignore the Atlas specialist glaring at his newest teachers and the glare of one of those newest teachers sending at his back. Maybe if he stood really still for a few moment Hazel would glare at something else.

He didn't know how exactly Adrian was acquainted with the giant of a man who had a grudge against him but, to be perfectly honest, he didn't care much about it either; he just wanted him to stop glaring at him all the damn time!

It's not like he didn't understand why Hazel was antagonistic towards him, the brother gods knew he understood the pain of losing family. And the rage such a tragedy could bring. Not to mention the fact that Gretchen had died while she was still a student, which meant that she was technically under their protection and their responsibility but… damn, he had no idea why Hazel shouldn't glare at him with hatred.

"Quite a gathering of cute little students isn't it?" Adrian asked with a smile on his face as he watched Ozpin walk back towards the rest of the faculty.

"Though there were three of them that got me especially interested."

"I already pity them." Winter said with a deadpan, making Adrian look at her with an angelic smile.

"Oh do not worry, honey. I always have time for you, no matter how much I attention I must pay to my students." He said with exaggerated movements while his multi colored friend, Neo, stood behind him and blow her nose at a handkerchief before looking at him with adoration. Which was quite a different look compared to the murderous rage in the Atlas Specialist's eyes.

"Anyway, as I was saying, there are three students that got my attention. The first one is that adorable girl in red that I am quite sure a bit too young to be here." He said with a raised eyebrow directed towards Ozpin who simply shrugged.

"I met miss Rose a little before the semester began when she stopped an armed robbery. She might be younger than the rest of the students but I assure you that her age does not make her skills any less impressive." He said with a smile before taking a sip from his mug, letting delicious coffee into his soul.

"Ok, I'm gonna ignore how creepy it is you talking about a definitely underage girl and move on to the next interesting student." The hitman said, causing Ozpin to look at the other faculty members in order to get some sort of signal about how he wasn't creepy but all he got was averted looks from his old friends and a huge middle finger from Hazel.

"Anyway, this kid got my interest due to how weak he is." Adrian declared, making the rest of the faculty look at him weirdly.

"My apologies, mister Radcliffe, but... weak?" Glynda asked as she adjusted her glasses, trying to understand what he meant.

"Yup, weak." Adrian nodded, or took a quick glance at Glynda's chest, before continuing.

"Admittedly it isn't exactly easy to differentiate between total weaklings and normal weaklings this school has." Well that was incredibly rude. "But the kid with literally no aura kinda sticked out." And then all the eyes were on Adrian and Ozpin once more.

"Radcliffe... how do you know that a kid has no aura?" Winter asked slowly, a less than pleased expression on her face.

"It's a skill I picked up throughout the years, it helps being able to tell which of the guards have aura and which of them don't. More important question is why is there a kid with no aura in the most prestigious huntsman academy in the kingdoms?" Adrian once more directed a raised eyebrow in Ozpin's way, looking less than impressed.

"Mister Arc comes from a long line of accomplished huntsmen, I gave him an opportunity to enroll in Beacon because I believe that he has the potential to be just as great as any of them. In the end, that's why academies exist in the first place; to bring out the potential of the youth." Ozpin concluded his speech, hoping that no one would mention anything about how a boy with no aura managed to get the proper paperwork that would include his training academy in it. A training academy that would have unlocked his aura.

"Cool story, you might as well said that the kid is this generation's Gretchen." Instead Hazel just had to compare his words to the worst possible scenario! Just how much did he hate him?! Keeping a grudge so strongly for over a decade was not healthy you know?!

"Who is the last student that has gotten your interest, Adrian?" Ozpin blatantly changed the subject before the giant of a man decided to take a swing at Ozpin, though Hazel likely didn't exactly need a reason for that.

"Hmm, oh yes, the third one. I have to admit this with embarrassment, but I believe that I have been captivated by the beauty of one of the students." Oh… that didn't sound good.

"Don't look at me like that, it is completely platonic. Like admiring a painting or a particularly beautiful flower." Ok, that made it somewhat better. Not by much but it definitely could have been worse.

"And who exactly is this poor student?" Winter asked with a glare, looking like she was hoping for some sort of excuse to finally arrest Adrian. Poor girl, she should know that such a thing was impossible since she had been beaten by a drunk Adrian already.

"Oh yes, a truly beautiful one. One with hair as white as the freshly fallen snow and blue eyes akin to sapphires themselves." That description, while a bit too flowery for Ozpin's tastes, was starting to sound very familiar in a very bad way. The Atlas Specialist must have realized it too since she had a rather evil look in her eyes while one of her hands was getting closer to her sword.

"Tell me Winter." By the childish and petty pride of brother gods, please do not do this Adrian. "Would you introduce me to that cute little sister of yours."

"Die!" He had done it now.
