Chapter 20
Chris wondered what James was doing at that moment. James had said he would call, but it was going on five o’clock and there hadn’t been any contact from him since Chris had left him at the dock. If James was just going to be interested in Dylan and Ron though, maybe it was best he didn’t call.
That thought was too troubling. He needed to eat dinner and give this a break. He shut off the light and then walked to the kitchen. Inside the refrigerator, he found salad makings and chicken, but he didn’t really want to fix anything. It needed to be something simple, maybe a glass of milk, and then hopefully after some sleep, he would feel like facing life again.
