But with a hard attempt at blinking off my idolizing stare, I remembered that I was still on duty and that I was staring at an unruly patient that ignored every other piece of advice and care that I gave.
"You were not fine," I clinically replied, standing my ground against my own urges to make way for her. "You were being stupid, and you know how high I regard your intelligence, Flare."
