" Now I must go. I hope to see you soon Kora." Were the last words Author said before heading to the direction of the king's chambers.

Author arrived at the chambers when the rats had already collected the crystal. They brought it to Author and he thanked them still not believing he was talking to rats.

Outside of the king's chambers, some guards had spotted Author going in and they were on the move to capture the intruder.

Author heard strong footsteps outside and he knew that the guards were coming for him, so he needed to act quickly.

A feather appeared in his palm and he bent down to draw a hexagram as fast as he could. Then he dropped his blood at the center of it and activated the traveling spell.

The guards arrived at the king's chambers and they were all lost due to the fact that they could not see the intruder who just entered there some seconds ago.

" The crystal is gone. Who dares to do such dangerous acts in the heart of this castle?" Said a guard.

The guards wanted to search the area but as they went forward, a burnt mark on the ground caught their attention.

Author had arrived at the castle of the Duchess, precisely in his room and he was sweating so much.

He felt like he had been running a race. He sat on his bed looking at the price he had been fighting so much for, all this while.

' Finally I have gotten it after all the struggle.'

Author accepted to absorb the last crystal and the crystal disappeared from his hand and he could feel the energy entering his body.

Then followed by it was immense pain that was more painful than the first time he absorbed the crystal.

His body felt lighter and it felt like he was in a totally new body.

Author couldn't help but put on a wide smile wich looked creepy.

' My strength skipped from thirty five to three hundred. I think I am ready to protect the Duchess and those villagers now.'

Mean while at the palace the king and his trusted men were having a meeting in a meeting room.

The king had a look of deep thought for some time then he took a deep breath and said.

" Dark Magic. Hmm, I thought I made sure that I erased all wizards and witches practicing this sort of magic but now I know I was wrong.

And for the fact that you said it was a boy with white hair, I am very sure it is a descendant of the great Wizard Himself.

The Great Wizard was a pain in the ass and now he has a son that is just like him." The king lamented.

" Don't worry we will search for this boy and bring his head to your highness." A Muscular man with a patch on one of his eyes, carrying a big hammer in his hand, having a red circle on it, with an eye at the centre said.

" You must be very careful with this boy. If he had the ability to control rats that means he must have reached the master level in his evolution and has some dirty tricks up his sleeve.

And worse of all, if he finds all the rest fragments of the crystal he becomes very dangerous almost like the Great Wizard himself." An old man with long white beared said.

Anyone could look at his hair and his dressing style and mistake him for a weak old man but under his clothes was a well chiseled and muscled body.

" With my King tier hammer I am good to go." The muscular man with a patched eye spoke while lifting his hammer wich looked very heavy but he carried it like nothing.

" We will have to send agents to that village sooner to carry out the test." Said the king and everyone agreed with that.

" Our break is over and we will have to head back to school." Said Mara looking at Author.

" And this time around you won't be in school alone. I will be there with you." Author said.

A lot is happening in this world than we know so we will have to be really fast with this plan. Would you like to a dedicated follower of mine?" Author asked.

This question confused Mara but after explanation of how it works and how it changed the princess's power level, not suprisingly, Mara accepted to be a dedicated follower.
