chapter 11: Attack from all sides.
In a spectacular display of elemental fury,the fire phoenix and devil dragon engaged in a battle,the phoenix it's resplendent plumage,a kaleidoscope of fiery hues descended upon the dragon with grace and precision,it's wings beating fiercely generate whirlwinds that buffeted it's opponent.
The dragon,it's scales glinting like black diamonds in sunlight, retaliated with malevolent fury, unleashing a torrent of dark flames that clashed with the phoenix inferno in a spectacular display of pyrotechnics.
The skies trembled as the two titans exchanged blows, their roars thundering through the land like symphony of chaos,the phoenix's talons slashed with precision, seeking vulnerable scales on the dragon's armor plates hide while it's beak darted in and out striking true time and again ,the dragon's eyes blazed with infernal intensity.
In the lower altitude,of about fifty meters, ling xue, Wang yan, wen li and the level nine creature were clashing with each other with neither side showing any signs of emerging victorious
The level nine creature laughed and exclaimed,"oh my devil!, you guys are something,I have tried hard to take you down but it seems that you won't give up."
Ling xue smirked and assured,"I think you have a rotten brain,let me remind you, remember when I told you that you will go down with your sins,so get ready to be annihilated by us .
The level nine creature once again laughed and said,"you take me down,you petty fools think that you can actually fight me ha ha ha ha ha ha, today I promise that I will send you to hell together with your arrogance."
They went ahead to clash with each other but the level nine creature was going no where,it was confident that mere warriors of level seven and eight couldn't do any harm to it.ling xue channelled spiritual energy into her sword and released uncountable slashes at the level nine creature.
Mid air the slashes colluded with a magical shield,the creature had set up to protect itself,as the slashes hit the shield,they exploded like hundreds of tiny grenades.
The light that emerged from the explosion was so powerful that it gave out a shimmering bright light that blinded th the level nine creature,wen li who was waiting for the right time to attack since he had a few attack skills, began to chant .
The creature opened it eyes and exclaimed,"wow!,is that all you have got,I am so scared ha ha ha ha ",in its sarcastic laughter it didn't notice that it was surrounded but after a few seconds it noticed that it was surrounded by many Wang yan, wen li and ling xue.
As it was wondering what was going on,the illusions that surrounded it began to fiercely attack with no mercy,the level nine creature tried to defend itself from the overwhelming attacks but it was of use since in the illusions,the real Wang yan, wen li and ling xue were attacking with all their might.
The level nine creature closed it's eyes and as soon as it opened them,they had turned dark red.
The dark red eyes emitted a soul piercing aura that managed to shatter the illusions exposing Wang yan, wen li and ling xue true faces, bringing them out of the dark.
In the higher levels of the sky,the battle between the devil dragon and fire phoenix was still taking place,the devil dragon swung its massive claws at the phoenix seeking to crush it's ethereal from beneath it's grasp .
