Surviving at One of the Most Dangerous Places on Deimos

The Carnage Forest shook because of the powerful attack.

"Shit!"

Reh mumbled under his breath as he dodged and avoided all the attacks of the huge snake he encountered.

Kusaaaa Hissss

The snake looked for Reh using its tongue.

It's been two weeks since Reh's training began. But unlike the first time when he came here, where he had a hard time and struggled his way out, right now, Reh was holding his ground because of the new things he learned and discovered.

First, for some unknown reason, he knew how to fight, avoid and perceive an attack. It was still a mystery to Reh how it happened, but he didn't ponder at it deeply because of all the things and events that happened he wouldn't be surprised if one day, he could breathe fire.

Second, he didn't feel any exhaustion or tiredness even after he fought a couple of monsters in a row. And Reh has two presumptions for this. It's either his Strength Stat or his infinite Original Mana.

Third, his new Skill - Excalibur. Due to his infinite Original Mana, he could activate it anytime he wanted without worrying about exhausting his Original Mana.

And lastly, he still doesn't know how to activate his OP Skill.

"Argh!" Reh quickly rotated his body to avoid the venom attack by the snake.

Reh looked in the direction where the venom landed. The block trees and the ground were slowly dissolving because of the venom.

"Haaa... If I were to be hit by that... Gulped." Reh couldn't even think what would happen if he were to be hit by this venom.

Reh's attention shifted on the charging snake towards him, but the snake suddenly stopped, and in one swift move, it used its tail to attack Reh!

"Excalibur!"

Reh reacted to this attack and released his sword then...

Reh's sword and the tail of the snake collided with each other, but due to the sharpness of the sword plus the strength Stat of Reh, the tail was cut off and fell to the ground.

But it was not the end yet!

The snake used its long body and flexibility, sprang, and turned its head towards Reh's direction. Reh didn't anticipate the attack and was caught off guard!

The snake's head hit Reh with full power!

Reh rolled on the ground, and it didn't stop until his back was hit by the tree.

Reh coughed blood as he slowly held his left ribs. It was broken due to the attack.

Reh was never been hit by the monsters he faced since he started this training. This is the first time Reh was hit by a powerful attack.

Luckily for Reh, he has a 4000+ defense Stat to endure the attack of the snake. If he were still the same as before, he would be surely dead by now.

Reh looked at the slithering snake coming in his direction with a heavy and pained breath.

'Strong... This is the strongest monster I have ever faced so far since I become like this...' Reh internally thought as he gritted his teeth, enduring the pain from his broken ribs.

Then the snake reached Reh's position, and it stood tall using its long body.

The snake looked at Reh using its yellow slit eyes and opened its mouth showing its sharp fangs. Also, the venomous poison was dripping down from its mouth to the ground, and the moment it touched the ground, it is slowly dissolving showed how potent this venom was.

And it opened its mouth further, readying to swallow Reh alive!

'Ahhh... Am I going to die here? Now that I acquired the power and strength I needed to kick their asses. Like hell!! I'm not going to die here! I'm going back on Earth alive!'

"Follow your instinct, use your Skill..."

Reh heard someone speak to him. He doesn't know what's gotten on him, but he followed what the voice said. He let his instinct do all the work.

Enduring the pain, Reh extended his right arm and looked at the snake that was now going to shallow Reh!

Then...

"ABSORPTION!!!"

At the same time, a red magic circle appeared on Reh's arm and eyes. Then from a tiny magic circle, it started to get bigger and bigger until it became huge as the snake. After that, a bright red light emerged from the magic circle.

The cry of the snake resounded in the forest. After a few seconds, the red light disappeared along with the snake.

Reh took a deep breath after the Skill concluded. He feels like a huge amount of energy was left and vanished inside his body then...

Reh began to twist his body as his inside began to churn up!

Reh shouted in pain before he lost consciousness.

Reh woke up to the sound of the birds coming out from their nest.

He slowly sit up and leaned on the block tree on his back.

"What the hell was that??" Reh mumbled as he remembered the events that transpired yesterday.

"That Skill is absurd... " Reh said as he looked at his arm and touched his eyes.

Who would have thought that the strongest monsters Reh faced were instantly defeated by his Skill. Reh was now having a rough idea of how his Skill - Absorption works.

But Reh's attention was disrupted when he noticed something.

Somehow he could see some red, orange, and yellow colors around him. But these colors were no ordinary colors because they have a body shape. A body shape of the monsters.

Reh could see the heat signature of each monsters around him. He could see how large or long each monster around him.

That is no longer surprising. The snake that Reh absorbed from his previous fight is one of the strongest monsters on Hard Rank. The Titanoviper.

"What the..." Reh said while he was looking at his updated Status Tag.

Skill: Absorption - Could absorb everything. Upon absorbing, Skills, Stats, and properties would be transferred to the Skill owner(Reh). The target will be killed immediately if absorb(If living being. Banished if not).

Excalibur - Able to release a sword made of Original Mana.

Infrared Sensing - Able to sense the heat signature of warm-blooded beings.

Venom - Able to release a potent venom that could poison and paralyze the target.

Titanoviper is a level 900 monster. It was on the peak of Hard rank but Reh absorb and took its Skills and Stats.

"Wait... Does it mean that snake have the same Stats as me? No wonder I got hurt, and I couldn't react to its attack." Reh said while looking at his Stats.

"So... My Skill - Absorption is truly on OP Skill..."

"Anyway..." Reh looked around to find some monsters so that he could test and try his newly added Skills and Stats. Upon searching, Reh found a saber tooth on his far right.

Then he started to go silently towards the location of the sabertooth, but when he was still 10 meters away from the saber tooth, it suddenly sensed the arrival of Reh, and it roared at him.

This move causes Reh to be shocked. In the past weeks, no one aside from the Titanoviper sensed Reh's presence when he came near them.

Grrrrrr Grrrrrrrr

The sabertooth showed its long and sharp fangs, but Reh found it weird because this monster was slowly stepping back away from him, unlike before when it would charge angrily toward Reh.

Reh, step forward. The sabertooth steps back. This gesture showed as if this monster were trying to avoid Reh. But Reh set that aside because he had to try his new Skills.

"Excalibur," Reh mumbled, then the white sword appeared in Reh's right hand.

The saber-tooth readied itself because it knew that Reh wouldn't be going to leave without fighting. The saber-tooth didn't waste any second and began to charged and jumped towards Reh.

While the saber tooth was in mid-air, Reh extended hid left his arm and pointed it at the saber tooth, then he mumbled...

"Venom..."

After that, a green venomous sticky liquid spewed out from his left arm and hit the saber tooth. It causes the sabertooth to stumbled mid-air and fall to the ground while scratching its head, arm, and all over its body.

And after a few seconds, it stopped moving while having small muscle spam throughout its body. Then, blood started to come out from its mouth and two eyes. When this happened, the saber tooth lay dead.

"Is this the power and effect of this Skill? Ha... Luckily that I was not hit with this, if so, I was the one who was currently lying dead right now." Reh said while looking at the dead body of the saber tooth. Now Reh knew that he could use this new Skill of his effectively.

Then he looked upward, and without saying any words, Reh leaped upwards. When he thinks that he is now at the right height, he holds at one of the branches of the block tree and looks at the entire forest.

"Now... Let's start finding the house of Ronald." Reh said before he jumped down.
