Chapter 80: Aboard the Prophet Train

“ARE YOU LISTENING!?” New Halo’s protector shouted into her microphone.

Everyone around shouted ‘YEAH’ in unison while standing shoulder to shoulder with the exact same euphoric expression on their face.

Leo turned his attention outside the monster truck’s window. The men, women, children, and elders of the city were circled around the vehicle like a pack of wild hyenas awaiting orders from the alpha. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing. “She did it…” he whispered with a smile on his face.

“Sorry for the Mind F*ck, everyone,” Siren continued to speak to them. “But, a girl had to get your attention as quickly as possible,” she said while sticking her crossed fingers up.

“The blessing that Wintara gave her,” Leo said as he looked over at Roman. “It not only works as some sort of mind control. But, it seems that it can serve as some sort of mass command of those under her influence.”
