Chapter 68: She's So Fresh and Clean

An intense full moon made its presence known upon the arrival of such an important event for the royal family of New Halo City. Weeks of anticipation had built for the annual Freak Fest Authority Appreciation Ball for those who received a special invitation. The hosts, King Jermaine and Queen Maduma, had opened their extraordinary castle to their special guests and mingled amongst them with no care to their political status.

Sheriffs, firemen, animal control, and many others made it to their castle in their best suits and dresses to be honored by the supreme couple.

“All y’all get settled in. Eat, drink, and get married for all I care!” the delighted King greeted the guests while dawning her favorite olive suit and gold crown.

“Sweetie, it’s ‘be merry’,” his exhausted wife corrected him while twirling around in a handcrafted peach gown.
