Chapter 62: Hot in Here

Deeper within the cave’s layout was a newly established spa room filled with hot tubs, massage tables, mud baths, nail stations, and a giant pool with a waterfall. Created for partygoers who prefer a slower paced night out, this elegant new piece of the club welcomed all of those looking to relax their nerves. Unfortunately, those with hopes of a peaceful night had their plans ruined by the feuding masked terrorist and the holy champion.

“Urrrrrgh!” Siren grunted after being thrown through the spa’s entry door. After trading a variety of blows with Maximus, the fast pace of the battle was starting to take a toll on her physically. With tired lungs and aching muscles, Siren scrambled to get back to her feet. She heard a variety of gasps and concerned murmurs coming from behind her and turned around to see several civilians in their robes staring at her. “Get out of here! It’s not safe,” she demanded, before feeling the painful sensation of a foot print slamming into her back.
