Chapter 59: Blow Your Mind
During Siren and Roman’s discussion, Lavender was tied up with Aleena and Sharene’s very pushy antics.
“Come on, Lavender, it’ll be fun,” Aleena insisted as the three women made their way backstage.
“Um… I don’t know you guys. I’m really supposed to be out there helping Siren right now,” an uncomfortable Lavender spoke her mind.
“Oh relax!” Sharene said with a cheerful voice.
The ladies took a sharp left within the tight backstage area behind the stage. They traveled through the dark, quiet, and downright creepy hallway, much to Lavender’s objection. “So like, what am I supposed to even do during this announcement?”
“Just smile and look pretty,” Aleena responded. “That shouldn’t be hard for you to do.”
“And don’t stress about a thing, girl. Our boss has this covered,” Sharene said.
