Chapter 45: Can't Keep Her Down

Everyone screamed in horror at the sight of several feminine monsters rollerblading their way through the streets of New Halo. The haunting appearance of any creature that hailed from the Inferno would scare anyone... well, except the heroine of this conflict.

“Come and get me skanks,” Siren called out to the monsters over her shoulder while skating in the middle of the street. The predator turned prey continuously swerved her body back and forth to avoid oncoming traffic from both lanes in hopes of shaking the demons off her tracks. But no luck was found in that tactic. So, the crafty angel decided to take another route upon noticing an incoming garbage truck.

The Wretched could practically taste Siren’s blood with every inch they gained on her. Their diseased minds only had one thought; devour the girl!
