Chapter 43: Siren on the Block

All lovers of extreme sports and senseless violence were gathered at the skate park for the latest women’s roller derby match being held. An eager Siren sat amongst the others in the crowd and anticipated the start of the match while looking around at those nearby. The man sitting below in front of her on the bleachers had the crack of his behind hanging out while two gentlemen behind her were irritating her with the sound of chewing their pretzels. For so long, she thought humans were all beautiful creatures that the Gospels forged in their greatest vision. Clearly, somebody lied to her…

Unbeknownst to the spectating angel, danger was afoot once more. Watching the setup of the match from his vehicle parked on the street, Maximus finally had Siren in sights after weeks of searching for her. The henchman pulled his phone out of his pocket and immediately contacted Mad Moore for an update.

“Moore! I found the girl and the Wretched are in position,” he spoke into his device.
