Chapter 18: Get the Beast On

The beating they began to deliver was almost as if they were following her orders instead of Logan’s. Punches were thrown across her face simultaneously with the powerful kicks that left dents on her brother’s armor. Shields were bashed into her body while staffs were swatted at her limbs. She refused to yield to those dishing unbearable damage to her and did her best to remain on her feet.

Out of desperation, Siren threw several weak punches that did not come close to landing on any of the other angels.

“Look at this doofus,” one angel mocked her.

“He’s actually fighting the air!” another laughed at her before shoving her away from him.

A dazed Siren could no longer bring herself to fight back due to the exhaustion. To her misfortune, the others had quite a bit left in their tanks.

“NOW!” Logan yelled out to the winged angel that dropped Siren earlier.
