Jerah stayed awkward for the remainder of the wedding, while I loosened up with the help of a few drinks. I'm not an angry drunk or an extremely happy drunk or anything. I don't get drunk very often, too.

Christine told me I'm very talkative and shameless when the alcohol starts kicking in, though. So I kept drinking, until my head started feeling fuzzy and my shame disappeared. Until I dared holding a conversation with my lover without dying.

He didn't drink anything except for the one glass Kaori gave him, though. And he didn't really go back to his usual self, either. I guess it was as they said; his brain seemed to have crashed.

Fortunately, the wedding didn't end as late as Christine's because of the children. Two marriages in two days has really worn me out, so I am glad that we're leaving at 11 in the evening already.

"I'd rather get in a taxi with you, but I don't want to leave any children alone," Jerah sighs.
