Chapter 8

AN: I'm changing to the third person point of view so I can create more character development. It's kinda boring to write about one person.

*In the third Hokage's office.*

"Hokage sama, here are the birth reports for the month of September.

"Put it on my desk. And are there any of notice that you've seen?"

"Shikamaru of the Nara Clan and Ino of the Yamanaka Clan."

'It would seem that the clans are in a hurry to repopulate after the nine tales attack.' The Hokage had a stern look. "You can go now"

As the Hokage glanced at the list for the last time, he noticed a name. "Homura Nakamura. Your mom was a great ninja but unfortunately, she gave it up to be a mother. Let's see what you will become in the future."

*At Homura's house*

'GO GODDAMIT. WHY WONT YOU GO TO MY FEET.'

Ding: Your not going to get it if you become frustrated.

'I'm taking a break. I can't keep this up anymore. I've been training for 3 days in a row. I'm all burnt out.'

Ding: Host's mental toughness is pitiful.

'I wasn't training the whole time! This is making me rethink everything. Living in the old world was better.'

Ding: Please, think about this rationally. This training over a period of time will make you stronger. And wouldn't it be cool to be superhuman?

'Fuck off'

Ding: I think it is best for you to take a 5 minute break.

'I agree. Remind me when 5 minutes are over.'

Homura's mom suddenly walked in. "Homura, it's time for you to meet some of your future friends!"

Ding: This is a great opportunity to meet some of the main cast of Naruto. Postpone training for now.

'I was going to do that anyways...'

30 minutes later

"Akira, welcome. And I see you brought Homura along."

"It's nice to see you again, Mikoto. How's Sasuke been doing?"

"Well after a couple of rough weeks, he made it out just fine. I think he caught some kind of sickness."

"Did you not give birth in the hospital?"

'I cannot listen to this for much longer. I hate small talk' Homura then suddenly saw a figure walk out from the hall way. 'Itachi?'

Mikoto saw Itachi, so she gestured for him to come over to where Homura was. "Itachi, say hi to auntie Akira."

"Hello Akira sama. Nice to see you again."

"It's also nice to see you."

"Is that your son? Congratulations. What's his name? He's very cute."

"His name is Homura. He's about your brothers age."

"Can they go see each other?"

"Sure, just be careful when picking him up."

Itachi carried Homura and brought him to see Sasuke.

Mikoto then quietly whispered, "The war was very tough on Itachi. But he's coping quite well now that Sasuke's been brought into his life."

"It was tough on us all. That was the main cause of why I retired from being a ninja. I'm tired of all the violence. I don't want to take another's life. It hurts."

"Tea?" Mikoto suddenly changed the topic, as she saw her friend start to get depressed.

"Yes thank you."

*With Itachi*

"Homura, this is Sasuke."

"Sasuke, this is Homura."

They both just looked at each other as they don't really know how to speak.

"Hmmm, aren't y'all supposed to be excited after seeing a new face?"

Sasuke looked unamused. Homura looked just plain apathetic.

"Y'all are boring. Oh do y'all want to see my kunai set I just got? Father told me to start training now to prepare for the academy. I'll be right back."

Homura's face lit up in anticipation. 'Yes! Every real Naruto fan has always wanted to get a real kunai.'

Ding: Maybe that was just you.

Homura promptly ignored the system. He sat there just staring at Sasuke. 'So this is the reincarnation of Indra. It's so weird seeing him in person rather than in 2D.'

Homura thought some more. 'This is a couple of months after the nine tails incident. That means the Uchihas got relocated. I wonder how Mikoto is handling that?'

*With Mikoto*

"It's been quite nice, actually, being relocated and all. It's been a whole lot quieter, which is good. But the problem is that people are giving us looks of disdain."

"Do you think it's because of the Nine Tails attack?"

"Most likely yeah," Mikoto said, depressed.

"Well I do know some information I got second hand that's supposedly top secret."

"What?" Mikoto said, with slight anticipation

"The identity of the new jinchuriki. It's supposedly the late Fourth Hokage's son"

"No way. Are they going to release this news?"

"Most likely, no. Please try to keep this a secret. I trust you Mikoto."

"You know my lips will be sealed."

"Ok good."
