AN: The plot starts now. Hopefully the first couple of chapters weren't to boring. Now it should get interesting. Also, I will slightly alter my writing style. It will be a lot easier to read I think.
The days kept going by, and the cycle of life kept on. Animals were born, grew up, got old, and eventually, they died. Death is only natural after all.
Anyways, as Homura got older, his powers increased dramatically. Turning 6, he could go toe-to-toe with a chunin, even without his kokugan. The system was pleased with Homura's growth.
If one were to qualitate Homura's strength, like looking at one's stats, it would look something like this:
Strength: 62 —> 112
Speed: 123 —> 176
Chakra: 167 —> 340
(The rest doesn't really matter or it's not a tangible thing.)
But with all that gain in strength, Homura still hasn't realized something: His mom. Manipulative, power hungry, delusional, and has reckless abandon for her son. Yet, Homura hasn't realized that his mom is like that.
The system won't say anything, because it believes that's something for Homura to work out on his own. She is not inherently evil, it's that she is a little crazy.
Anyways, Homura had arrived back in the leaf village. Day to day, we was living a somewhat laid back ninja life. His training was less, thanks to his pleading, and he was building relations with his dad.
The days we're getting nearer to the academy. "Completely useless," Homura would say to his mom, to which she would respond with, "It's to make friends. Be a kid." It was kind of weird saying that to a kid. But that's not important.
What is important is that Homura has a chance to build ties with the main characters. Yes, they are annoying, but it is vital for later on.
So usually, after training, he would walk around, looking for any of the main characters. He met Naruto on multiple occasions. But there was something weird: Naruto wasn't as exuberant, or annoying as his usual behavior. It was almost like he was laid back.
The first day Homura met Naruto was interesting, to say the least.
"Hey, are you Naruto?" Homura asked with feigned ignorance.
"Yeah. Who are you?" Naruto said, with mild curiosity. No one had really reached out to him like that. Most people already know who he is. So It is only natural for Naruto to be confused, because that is what he is used to.
"My name is Homura." He said, while smiling. "I need friends, and your the first person I saw." Of course, Homura was lying through his teeth.
Naruto responded, somewhat suspiciously, "And your not scared of me? Or pissed at me?"
"Why would I be pissed at you? I just met you. Is that how people normally treat you?"
"Yeah. I've come to accept it, but not define me. That's what an old man told me. Oh, speaking of that, would you like to meet him?"
"Uhhhh, sure."
"Ok. Follow me!" Naruto yelled, while already running. Homura quickly followed behind.
It is only natural for kids to be running around in the hidden leaf, so people didn't care if there were kids running around.
They ran for over thirty minutes. They eventually came to the outskirts of the village. They slowed down their pace. Eventually, the duo came across a house, hidden by trees.
"This is where he lives!" Naruto said, with a huge smile.
"What's his name?" Homura asked.
"Old man!" Naruto said innocently.
Homura facepalmed. Then he sighed. "Nevermind, I'll figure it out."
They then proceeded to walk to the door. "Now, this old man is kind. So don't be nervous." Naruto said.
'I'm not nervous.' Homura had a weird look on his face. "Thank you for the advice Naruto."
Naruto grabbed the door handle. He barged in. "HEY OLD MAN! I'VE BROUGHT SOMEONE."
A voice replied from another room. "Yeah? Who is it?"
"His name's Homura! We ran all the way over here."
"Wait a second. Let me get up." The old man then walked to his front door.
"Names Jirobo. Nice to meet you."
AN: I have lacked a lot of motivation lately. That is why my updates have been quite slow. Anyways, let's access where the story is, and where I stand on it.
So I think the plot is just god awful. I had no clear plan, and I was very disorganized. Saying that, writing this has been absolutely fun. And honestly, I don't care if the plot is shitty, as long as I provide decent content, with logical sentences, then I'm happy. I've been blessed with very few hate messages, which is good. But any of you who hate this story, please tell me why. This story is by no means great, so honestly, I would appreciate your view. But please, don't leave shitty reviews.
It's always good to be real with your self. Just do you and don't let other people bring you down. I hope you have a wonderful day/night.
Thanks
