Morning came and everything worked fine so well. Now, they are all sitting in the long rectangular table. It was built in silence, no dare to talk and its bothering him now.

It was a long silence when the head of the table, Mr. Von Marquez cleared his throat and stair at them.

"Lady Von Marquez said that you both are getting married, is that true?" Von Marquez asked as he stair at him and his child

"Yes and I'm here to personally take her hand in marriage" Gray said as he stair at Von Marquez and to Ymir who's now tensed up, the temperature is good but she's sweating bullets

He take her hand and caressed it. Slowly, Ymir lift her head up and turn to him with a light smile-- saying that she's fine. He sit besides Ymir 'cause it's comfortable or more like it's just good to sit besides her.

"Why?" Von Marquez asked again as he eye Gray suspiciously, Gray have already seen Von Marquez for so many times but they never really talk

It was a first and long record that they have a talk. In the dining, discussing marriage.

Because as much as possible, he don't want to talk to Mr. Von Marquez. His love for his child's is unfairly.

"I love your daughter deeply, Your Highness" Gray answered as polite as he could after cleaning his mouth with a clean silk napkin

"Did you see the scar on her back, it's awful, isn't it?" Ymir's grand mother said as she stair at Ymir with her disapproval look that make his heart boiled

He knew that they don't want her but disrespecting her in front of him and in the dining is reaching off his limits. He clenched his teeth and try to calm himself.

"Mother, it's my daughter who'm your talking about" Von Marquez voice become hard and cold and it make him breath in delighted

Now, he knew that even though his Ymir didn't like by its family. She's been love secretly by her father. Seeing Ymir hiding her happy face is making him at ease, finally.

The conversation ended and the people became silent until, Gray felt a toes, climbing up to his feet. His breathing became ragged and he quickly dogged Emir's touched.

He look to see Emir's smirking face, it was seductive yet dangerous. He turned around to see Ymir who's now sweating bullets, again. So he now offered her his handkerchief inside his pocket and lend it to her.

After a few minutes of eating, he again felt Emir's toes that seductively rising until it made its own destination. He against glance at Emir and slightly glared at her for being this vicious.

Didn't she know that I'm gonna marry her big sister?

Emir is the youngest of the Von Marquez clan and the most wanted in the Von Marquez siblings. Emir is beautiful, smart and energetic that everyman admired her.

Also, the Von Marquez grandmother favored Emir the most to the point that her grandmother is taking a fight to her son just to make Emir's be the heir.

But, in their rules. Who was born first shall be granted.

Gray's body tensed just by the touched of Emir so he asked Ymir if she's now full and she said 'Yes'. He quickly take a live along with Ymir and go outside to have a little walk.

Everything in the dining, Emir's doing, suddenly flashed to him again and again and it's turning him on for pate sake!

Suddenly out of nowhere, Ymir stop from walking and stair at him intensely and he felt somehow guilty 'cause he felt like he 'cheat' at Ymir but cheating is not in his.

"Is something wrong?" Ymir suddenly question make him confused and scared at the same time so he asked too

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't you like me anymore?" Ymir's question is taking him off guard so he asked her again

"What are you saying?" It feels like they are just changing questions but none of them is answering it

"I've been talking but you keep spacing out. You don't like it, right? Is something wrong?" He didn't want to say that Emir is seducing him, he don't want her to feel jealous or be mad at him and her family so he made a lie.

"The food is so good that I space out. I'm sorry" What a great lie. But out of a sudden, he heard a little laugh so he stair at Ymir

He love it when she laugh 'cause everytime she laugh, she blushed. Her gray eyes. Perfect jaw line. Perfect face and her perfect personalities-- he love it. Everything about her.

"Gray--"

"It's babe, sweetness" Gray hissed as he hold her hand before intertwining it, Ymir smiled and squeeze his hand a little

"Babe, if you want to back out. You can"

"We've talk about it, sweetness. Trust me, I only want you and I won't back out, Okay?" and it's a promise
