Then Hoseki continued with his explanation.

"That secret mission was sent along with the options of death. If you was caught, the situation only left you with three options. First, you should kill yourself. Second, it forced my uncle to kill you and continue with the mission. The third was to save you and abandoned the mission."

"You knew those options the moment you received the mission but you decided to keep your life intact when you were caught."

"As the mission was highly secret, uncle Sakumo had choice to kill you to continue the mission."

"Instead of continuing his mission, uncle Sakumo choose to save your life. Who knows that the one he had saved is an ungrateful idiot." Hoseki sneered.

"Shut up. If your uncle was so great, why didn't he just kill me and continued with the mission. I will gladly accept his decision if he decided to kill me to continued the mission." the man defended himself.

" Hehhh.. Then, answer me first. Why don't you take your own life?"

"The fact that a dead captives is better and alive captives in that kind of mission."

"You, yourself knew about that the best, right?"

"If uncle Sakumo had chosen to continue with the mission back then, he had to kill both of his captured comrade to keep the mission as a secret."

" Then, why would you chose to stay alive and gave uncle Sakumo such a cruel choice."

"Instead of killing yourself, you kept your life intact and waited for my uncle to save you."

" Tell me why you still hanging on your lousy life if you really dare to die for the mission ?!"

"Because of your coward decision, the village had to send eight more shinobi to escort your return. Four of them were genins who had just graduated, but they were still being sent for such dangerous rescue operation. One out of eight , Fero san had fallen in the mission. The rest of them were surrounded and almost dead in the process."

"For what? To save your ass who was caught and kept hanging to your life."

"And now you dare to back staba my uncle to save yourself? Is this is your great worth as a shinobi? Or this is your great principles as shinobi? Or.."

"Enough!" the man suddenly became angry and attacked Hoseki.

Before Hoseki can react, an anbu suddenly appeared between them and stop the man.

"Stop. Both of you are now under arrest." the white cloak anbu spoke.

Several anbu appeared suddenly surrounding them.

"Take them." the white cloak anbu disappeared after giving order.

The anbu arrested Hoseki and the man and brought them to a building.

Hoseki were put into a dark room and being left alone.

Hoseki waited with anxious as he kept remembering the memories of his uncle death. He hoped to leave this place as soon as possible.

"This is too much. Not only you pinned the blame on him. You even dare to slander him. And now you are arresting his nephew. Do you really wanted to see him rebel? Answer me Danzo!" After being filled with the report Hiruzen lashed his anger to Danzo.

"Hump. He spoke and revealed a secret mission to the public. What do you think we should do? Letting him loose like that?" Danzo retorted.

"And who did you think did that first. Who is the one that spreading about the mission failure to the public? Do you think I am idiot Danzo? Do you think I had no idea what you did behind my back?" Hiruzen was fuming with anger.

"Still, letting him loose like that will affect the rule of our village. He must be punished to be example for others ." Danzo insisted on arresting and punishing Hoseki.

"Then you should be the one I should arrest first." Hiruzen said while gritting his teeth.

" Third buntaichou. Release Hoseki from his cell and put him under house arrest until further order." Hiruzen made his decision and order for Hoseki house arrest.

"Yes, hokage sama" a voice came out from outside office.

" But.. " Danzo tried to speak but got cut off by Hiruzen.

" I had enough! You better shut up. You are also going to be under house arrest. Second buntaichou. Escorts Him and put him on house arrested. Dismissed." Hiruzen gave his order.

"Yes. Hokage sama."

" Danzo sama. Please cooperate." An anbu appeared.

That afternoon, Hoseki was brought back to his house and been put under house arrest.

Hoseki was putting a request to meet with his uncle as he can't left his house.

A few moments later.

A silhouette stand in front of Hoseki house and opened the door.

"Uncle?" Hoseki heard his main door was opened.

To his surprised, the person wasn't Sakumo, but the third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen.

"Hokage sama. " Hoseki greeted immediately.

"Sigh, sit down. Let's talk" Hiruzen sat down on the floor.

Seeing Hiruzen sat on the floor, Hoseki ran to a table and took out two cushion and brought them to Hiruzen. He gave one to Hiruzen and sat on another one.

' Even he is under house arrest, he still show a respectful manner. If only he can do the same with his tounge... ' Hiruzen watched Hoseki action while wondering his character

Hoseki sat and waited for Hiruzen to speak.

"Do you understand why you are being arrested?" Hiruzen asked

" I exposed the secret mission in the public." Hoseki answered.

"So you know your actions are against the rules and you should not do it. Why are you still done it?"

"Why? He dishonoured my uncle in public. What do you think I should do? Dancing in front of him?" Hoseki sneered.

"First thing first, If my actions was considered against the rule or unethical, what about the one who spread the rumours?"

"Why didn't heard any news about the doer being caught?"

Hiruzen sat silently. He wasn't t answering to any Hoseki question.

Hoseki looked upon Hiruzen eyes.

"It's him right. You knew he was the one who caused this to happen. Now, tell me what kind of 'bigger picture' for you to let him tarnished my uncle reputation and honour?" Hoseki demanded for answer.

After a deep breath, Hiruzen stood up.

"He was guilty for his wrongdoing. I won't denied that fact. But as a village elder, he also possess a huge influence to the public and inner security. I can't punished him in public as it will affect the village morale nor I can punished him severely in private as he hold important duty for our village. "

"The situation happened as it was done without my consent. It was my negligence. I am deeply regret for everything had happened and damage it had caused for you and your uncle. I am really sorry for everything. " Hiruzen bowed as he asking for forgiveness and left the house.
