Are you ready to embark on a new adventure to a high school campus with teen werewolves, where the competition is not between Alpha and Alpha for the territory, but an Alpha and a Sigma- or are they even competitors? David Matthew, the Alpha-in-training of the Eclipse Pack has been preparing to take over the leadership of his pack and over the disputed Crescent territory by fighting his prime enemies- the Alphas of the Orion and Moon packs. But his expectations are largely subverted when he finally comes face-to-face with the rumoured Alpha of the Moon pack for the first time, Nora Rovery. _ Nora Rovery has led a mostly secluded life uptil now- scorned by her father, disregarded by her mother and her existence largely hidden from the public eye, under a carefully-crafted web of lies. She has understandably set high hopes for her first day at the new high school- which promptly seems like a bad idea within the first thirty seconds of encountering the school bully, David Matthew. Come along on this ride with David and Nora, who are born to be enemies, but end up forging their own path, true to their rebel spirits.
This statement gave Ryan an electric shock of the highest voltage his body was able to handle, as he could never have imagined this news coming up.
He knew Nora was naive and an idiot, but to this extent! This piece of information was something extremely new to him.
He had never imagined that she was even capable of pulling such a stupid act, and that too, without telling him anything.
Anyway… the fact of the situation was
that he was the one who had messed everything up in the first place, leaving him in a position where he couldn't really complain much.
But what about the chaos which was going to take place because of this?
Still, he was ready to be the laughing stock in front of everyone just to save Nora and her face.
Absolutely, he was absolutely going to do anything that would help him bring back the confidence Nora had on him.
After all, he could not repeat the same mistake once again- not only as a matter of principle, but also because he genuinely couldn't afford to repeat it.
Otherwise, it could turn into something that would cost him a price he had never imagined.
But not this time! This time, he wouldn't let his emotions win against his will to win, and mess everything up once again.
And for that, he needed to do something really quick- as he was already running out of time.
Going through all these plans in his mind in quick succession, he decided to pull the most innocent act in front of Nora.
He voiced his question even after he had heard everything clearly enough, the first time as well.
"I am sorry… what ? What did you just say, Nora? I think I might have heard something wrong."
The question made Nora embarrassed and fearful of the possibility of Ryan getting angry at her once again.
She knew that after what she had done, everyone from a Royal background was going to judge it by the parameter of complete idiocy to certified lunacy.
But she also knew that it was something she really wanted to opt for, it was something that had really given her the assurance that she could make her decisions by herself, too.
So after putting her emotions in order and deciding that she was not ashamed of what she had selected for the first time in her life, she spoke up.
"I said I have not opted for TCC: The Creative Commanders, instead, I have selected TAA: The Authority Achievers -"
"But why?... I mean, nevermind that, it's a stupid question."
Ryan spoke, rubbing his nape, and adding,
"Congratulations on the selection of your house once again, let me amend my mistake -"
"But Ryan…"
"It's okay, Nora!" He said with an innocent smile on his face, "For you, I am ready to do anything, accept any mistakes of mine, and trust me, I am even ready to accept the mistakes that are not mine- if that will make you happy."
"So don't worry," saying this, he winked in Nora's direction and she felt her heart miss a beat.
But still no matter how Ryan's actions made her feel, they were never able to make her forget the world like David…
David !
The name and thought of him appeared in Nora's head, and she crushed them both brutally.
While she was busy in this process of chasing him out of her mind, she heard Ryan's voice.
"Everyone, stand up and take their places, there was a slight mistake in the previous announcement because of my carelessness. Hence, I want your attention once again."
Saying this he paused for a moment, before he started,
"I had mistakenly asked you all to welcome Princess Nora Rovery as The Creative Commanders' new member, I need to clarify that it was a mistake from my side."
Ryan had taken a voluntary pause after this sentence, knowing that no matter where and what their identity was, rumor and gossip are two things that could spread faster than a forest fire.
And he was right- the moment he paused, he noticed the murmurs from the crowd emerging.
"Did you heard what Alpha is saying, did she select TSS-"
"Yes I have heard her parents are from that house only…"
"You all should shut your mouths and wait for the next announcement, who knows she has opted for TAA-"
"Are you even in your senses? TAA and a royal ? Not in this lifetime.."
The whispers are doing their job of making Nora uncomfortable to the point where her uneasiness had started to show itself on her face.
Noticing this, Ryan knew that finally, it was the time to announce the news he had been withholding till now, and with that, he opened his mouth again;
"Everyone! Attention! I want a pin drop silence here."
And within seconds of the words leaving his mouth, a hush fell over the entire assembly - after all, not even the juiciest gossip was worth incurring the wrath of a Royal Alpha for.
"Good!" He acknowledged with a nod, before announcing;
"Now that I have all your attention, I want you all to give me a roaring round of applause for Princess Nora Rovery for selecting;
TAA: The Authority Achievers house.
As I believe she will take the name of the house to a new level."
Even though the command had been issued for an enthusiastic round of applause, Nora could notice the lips of the students whispering amongst each other, about how stupid a Royal could be, to choose TAA as their house.
She stood rooted to her spot, unable to figure out what she was supposed to do.
She didn't know how she was supposed to get out of there, but all she knew was the fact that she needed to leave that place anyhow; and the sooner it was, the better it would be for her.
This was when Ryan leaned close to her and was about to tell her something else, but before she could have heard his voice, Louis' voice knocked on her eardrums.
"Here you are, sweetheart! And I have been looking for you everywhere, come let's go! There are many things that still need to be completed."
She raised her head to find out where the voice was coming from, when she noticed him making his way towards them from the opposite direction.
