Clean Up

Good news for Lunaira…she managed to reunite body and soul before everyone else returned home. Bad news was the fact that all of them were aware of Nelson’s visits and weren’t too happy when they found out what the ending results were. Ori was particularly upset as she sat in her adopted daughter’s room, spoon feeding her smashed potatoes with softened vegetables embedded in them. A few new silver slivers added to the gray and raven hair nest.

“I can’t believe you did that.”

“The potion or the meeting?”

“Both! If I had known this was going to happen, I would’ve stayed and spoken to Nelson myself!” Lunaira winced at her mother’s outburst. Ori huffed, puffing out like a ruffled canary before calming down slightly. Not enough for her to pretend things were fine, but enough to where Lunaira’s room wasn’t going to have a new window.
