at a loss for words

Orion kneeling over Alistar with a grin of pride on her. The shock pored over his face as he realized his baby sister just beat his ass in front of their whole family. Proud and pissed and concerned he pushes her off him knocking her to the ground. She used her shadows on him? Is she a master now? How had he not sensed it? So he just looked at her and said "i don't know what's going on with you, but you need to get a grip on your shadow wielding, they felt disobedient like they still didn't bend to your will. Next you come at me with shadows, have them under your control completely or I won't go easy." He said with a deep angry voice. Dusting himself off he just turned and walked back to the library. She stared at him as he walked away, confused and disappointed. She thought she had pretty good control over her shadows. She fought fair. He had used magic too? Why was he so mad? Did he not think she had control over them? And then she heard the crowd hollering. Shaking off the shock of her brothers behavior she gets up and dusts herself off. When her brothers approach her patting her on the back and the top of her head. They're gleaming with pride at her. Emmery speaks first

"Thank the gods someone finally put that ass-hat in his place" she laughed.
Ass was a common word thrown in front of her older brothers name. Because that's what he was. An arrogant ass. Oleander and her father, King Osiris, walks up.
Staring up at them.
"Well that was a quite the show" my father said to me. "Seems your mothers magic teacher has done well by you as well" He laughed a deep laugh.
"Fuck yeah Orion you really stuck it to him. When did you learn to use the shadows like that?" Oleander asked her "why haven't I seen you do that? You holding out on us?"
"Nooo" I laughed.
My family was amazing they always new how to cheer me up.
"How about you let me give it a go?" HE said approaching me.
At that moment everyone stopped talking and stared, looking back and forth between the man who'd spoken and their princess. Everyone amazed that anyone but the top warriors and her brothers had challenged her. Her skills where well known.
"I'm pretty skilled in combat myself, even have some real experience under my belt"
Oleander sneered "yeah I bet you do". Clearly meant as an insult. "Before you think you can challenge her how about you challenge us" suggesting he spar with all her brothers before her.
"Ya know, there's nothing more I want to do right now than watch my older brothers kick your ass" Orion said to HIM.
"Alright I'll make you a bet. If I win against beast boy here, you have lunch with me after training?" He asked "do we have an agreement?"
Orion scoffed and rolled her eyes "no, I'm not something you can barter with like a piece of jewelry" she stopped, "but if you can best me 2 of 3 tries, I'll consider it"
"Deal"
