It was like I was drained out of energy, my knee became a knob, I became weak at every part of my body. Did I just get rejected on the day of my wedding? He was Nican, the only person I have dreamt of being with all my life, it never dawned on me that he didn't love me. I was selfish, all I wanted was my love and I never thought of how he was to me.

As if Tiana know what was happening to me, she quickly rushed by my side and held me, but I slightly pushed her away, I was about to speak for myself when I heard father's voice

"What are you doing, Nican!!" His voice echoed. For the first time father addressed an Alpha in his name

"What does he look like to you?" An elderly man answered, he was at the same level as my father, and with the way he spoke, he had a high authority in the pack.

"Nican and Melanie were betrothed by the moon goddess as mates and it is legal for them to get married, Why give him the privilege to do this?" Father asked. He had many mixed feelings on his face.

"He did what he thinks is right to do and I will always support him in whatever he does, and you Mark should respect the Alpha!!" The man responded

Fresh hot tears flowed down my cheeks, I have never been this humiliated all my life, this was more painful than being addressed as an Omega, it wasn't my fault I am an Omega, why would he use it to judge our marriage.

"Fernando!!!" Father's howled.

"I watched both of them grow, the former Alpha also gave his concert, why are you turning things around?!"

"My father shouldn't be involved in this" Nican spoke up

"I have my life to live and my decision to make, and nobody is going to stop me from doing what I want, you are just a general, you have no say" He spoke in between gritting teeth. This was the real Nican I had known, ruthless, loveless, yet I still fell in love with him.

"What is wrong with you!!" Father yelled at Nican

"Nothing is wrong with me, I don't need your daughter, I don't need an Omega, she can't do anything for me, She can't support me, she can't protect me, how do I cope with her!!" He yelled back.

I never believed this was how he was going to describe me. He was known as ruthless, but this is too much to bear.

I sluggishly walked up to him, with tears rolling down my cheeks.

"I have loved you since I was little, I admired every being in you, even though you were being regarded off, I still supported you in every way I could, I was very happy when it was announced that I was going to be your mate, but I never knew this is who you truly are"

"That is your life to deal with and not mine!" He responded

"Is it my fault!!!" I yelled, I didn't Know where I got the courage from, but I hope I was doing the right thing.

"I was born as an Omega, the moon goddess was unfair to me, but it's my cross I have to carry . Does that mean I should be mocked with it? I'm the only Omega on Earth!!!"

"No bloodline of a beta has ever been an Omega, you are the first, and I don't want you" I looked deep into those eyes that had captivated me. If this was how fate brings people together, then I don't want to ever have anything to do with fate.

"Today is Alpha Nican's wedding, and we won't change that, he will still get married but this time, he will get married to the person he loves!" The man whose father was called Fernando announced.

"I Nican an Alpha, take Bella, a Beta and the daughter of second general Liam as my Luna!!" Nican announced

"Bella!!" I muttered, I looked up to see my best friend in a long red gown, she had a bouquet of flowers on her hands, she was looking like a bride, No! She is the bride, she is the person Nican rejected me to get married to, I was shocked that I didn't know what to do next.

I walked up to Bella, but she didn't even give me a glare. This time I made a stop my holding her hands

"What are you doing Bella?" I asked

"Getting married!" She answered

"I don't understand you Bella, you are making me lose my mind!"

"How could you do this to me, Bella, you are my best friend, I shared everything with you, I did everything together with you, why!!!!" I cried the more

"Do you think I would let you have everything you need, you are an Omega Melanie, and you deserve nothing" she whispered this time, but had a smile on her face.

"Is this who you really are, all this while you have be hiding under my shadow and I didn't notice you are this cruel and heartless'

"Think whatever you want Best friend, I'm never going to lose to you! You are always the loser and would surely be"

"I never knew the Devil still exists in the world as a human!!" I whispered too

I ran back to Nican and held him

"I'm sorry if I ever did anything wrong to you, I'm sorry if I made you lose your name, but please don't do this to me, I'm begging you" I pleaded, but what he did surprised me.

He pushed me hard on the floor making me hit my butt on the floor

"Melanie!!' Father yelled my name and ran towards me but then I heard the stringing sounds of an arrow, the pressure was released on it, its wave was loud, and before anyone could notice, it pierced into Father's Stomach.
