"Our boss has never personally participated in these projects." Tang Qin refused decisively.

However, the moment he stopped, he glanced in Huo Man's direction.

Even though it was just a glance, Shen Bei still noticed.

He looked attentively in Tang Qin's direction and saw a figure in a black dress flitting past into a corridor and out of sight.

Shen Bei suddenly felt that the figure that flashed past was familiar. He also felt that this woman was related to Tang Qin.

Could that be Huo Man?

Shen Bei ran in Huo Man's direction as if possessed. Tang Qin was shocked and quickly followed him.

"Huo Man, Shen Bei is heading towards you." Tang Qin said in a low voice.

When Huo Man heard this, she quickened her pace and rushed into the bathroom. She took off her high heels and changed into a set of light clothes.

She wanted to leave through the bathroom door, but she heard footsteps in the distance.

It was Shen Bei!

Huo Man changed her mind. She turned around and saw the big window in the bathroom.

She gritted her teeth and decided to escape through the window.

The bar was on the third floor anyways. With her ability, she could easily escape by jumping through the window.

Huo Man had already expected this. She had prepared a long rope in her bag. She skillfully arranged it, escaped through the window and went straight to the parking lot.

However, enemies were bound to meet on a narrow road. 

Huo Man thought she could leave without a hitch, but she did not expect to meet Shen Bei, who was after her, in the parking lot.

"Huo Man?" Shen Bei bumped into her, his eyes full of doubt.

She was indeed here.

However, she wasn't wearing a short black skirt, but an ordinary sweater with jeans.

"What are you doing here?" Shen Bei asked as he walked toward Huo Man.

"I just happened to be strolling nearby," replied Huo Man calmly. "What's up?"

Shen Bei did not let her go easily. Instead, he continued to ask,

"Do you know that this bar is holding a masquerade party? Did you see a woman wearing a black mask and a black dress?"

Shen Bei purposely mentioned this woman, trying to find a flaw in Huo Man's expression.

However, Huo Man's cold face was similar to his. She didn't show any strange expression and said,

"No, I didn't."

"What's wrong? Did Young Master Shen fall for another woman? Have you forgotten that you have a fiancée? However, after we sign the engagement agreement, I don't care if you like someone else, and I won't expose it. As long as you fulfill my conditions." 

Huo Man didn't forget to tease him, reminding him about the engagement agreement.

For some reason, Shen Bei felt slightly displeased after hearing Huo Man's words.

"If there's nothing else, I'll take my leave." Huo Man glanced at his furrowed brows and was about to leave.

However, just as she took a step forward, Shen Bei called out to her,

"I can sign a marriage contract with you."

Huo Man stopped in her tracks and turned around to look at him. 

"Oh?"

"Get in the car. I'll take you home and we can talk about my conditions." 

Shen Bei did not speak to her directly. Instead, he made another request that Huo Man thought was ridiculous.

Let him send her home?

Xu Feng, who was beside Shen Bei, also felt that it was ridiculous.

Young Master Shen was actually sending a woman home? He had never talked to a woman before, and the women around him would always be driven away by him, but he took the initiative to send Huo Man home!

Huo Man couldn't figure out Shen Bei's intentions, but for the sake of her inheritance and future plans, she still agreed to his request and followed him to his Maybach.

"What are your conditions?" 

Huo Man wanted to discuss this matter quickly, so she gave no room for small talk with Shen Bei.
