The result

I still keep on attacking this tiny but very strong monster in front of me. My blood is freaking boiling. I want to get rid of the energy in my body. I put all the energy on the combat knife that is in my hand.

Not the eyes. Not the left chest. I stab its tummy just like what my instinct tells me. Listening to our instinct is not bad after all. The creature I was fighting fell to the floor. It is still alive but I do not have to kill it just to get the paper, well, that's for me. But there is no paper in its hand.

I close my eyes firmly. Really? After the hardship I have done to this freaking small creature, is there no paper in its hand? I sat down because I was tired. I check the hologram, ten seconds left and the exam is done.

I got up again and was about to walk out but I first looked at the little I had fought before. I smiled a little.

"Nice job, little fella. You made me so tired to the point that I want to burn you out."

I walk towards the door and open it widely. Before I could take another step I sat on the floor. I tried to stand up but could not. I am very, very tired.

A teacher saw me and immediately went to me and supported me. He help me walk outside the big room. It made me sit on a bench.

He smile. "Congratulations," he said then walked away.

I looked at my fellow student who had just come out of the room where we were fighting. I saw the woman I was with in the relatively small room earlier. She smirk before walking towards me.

She sat beside me. "You're pretty quick. You're as fast as The Flash, I guess I am wrong for underestimating you, but do not take this as a compliment. There is no way in hell I will compliment you!" she said making me laugh. It was a sarcastic laugh.

"By the way, Natashia is the name," he said before standing up and stepping.

"I didn't ask," I said before he could get away.

SHe turned to me as if I had said something wrong. SHe raised an eyebrow at me and stared. I just sighed at her behavior.

"All the student, please gather."

I stood up even though I was still tired because of the exam. I start walking towards the stage. I just hope I can pass.

"Congratulations to all the students. You may or may not pass, I would like to congratulate you all. I would also like to express my deepes gratitude to all of you for choosing the school," the headmaster whole-hartedly said.

"While the entrance examination is on going we released a most powefull species. The fastest, the strongest, and the most skilled. Oh, it was not one of the species. It was actually a shape shifter, no one has ever beaten him, not until today. "

The headmaster smiled, indicating how proud he was of that person. Even me, I admit that I am proud to that person.

"I will announce the top five most highest scores and who earn the scores. Congratulations to Tracey Pavillion, you have the fifth position from the top. She earned nine hundred and thirty five points."

The students applauded. There were also shouts.

"You have the fourth spot, Anthony Casmare. Congratulations, you have earned nine hundred and eighty points."

Wow! Quite close.

"Now we'll announce the top three who aced the examination. Natashia Lopez, you're the top three. Congratulations. A thousand and fifty points."

As expected. I have expected this, she has this very strong aura.

"Congrats to Rafael Rivera, you have the second spot! One thousand and a hundred fourty points."

"Before I announce the the top one who has almost beaten the record, let me tell you a story. The academy has this strong and untamable creature, though he is just like us. Human figure."

I get very curious. I find it really cool.

"This day, we included him in your opponents. None of you know except the easy to feel. But, as what I have seen today in his opponent she did not know that it was an unusual creature that was the not same as her other opponent... "

If she did not know that the extraodinary creation is the one that's in front of her, how did she beat it?

"Congratulation Reinesmae Alondra Demetri, you aced the exam! You had beaten the most dangerous and the most powefull creature among all. You had almost reached the highest record. A thousand and three hundred ninety points!"

I can't move. Who just aced the exam? Did I pass? Am I... Am I the highest among all the three hundred fifty students who took the exam?

Something pushed me that brought me back to reality.

"Go up! You aced the exam, babe! You're certificate is waiting for you! Congrats!" said the woman who was very happy.

I just smiled at her. I could believe it. All I wanted was to pass but the position I was given was too much.

"Congratulations!" greetings from the headmaster and shook hands.

"Congratulations, Ms. Demetri," said the, I estimate the headmistress of this school.

"Thank you. Thank you so much," I said happily.

My fellow students applauded. I couldn't smile because of too much joy. Is that even possible?

"Guess I'm totally wrong for underestimating you, Ms. Reinesmae. Congratulations," Natashia smiled.

I nodded. "Thank you."

I went down the stage carrying the certificate given. I wanted so bad to tell it to my brother but I don't have phone to communicate with him.

"She's not deserving, she looks weak."

"I think she cheated so she became the top one, my gosh!"

I heard other students whispering. Why not just say it naturally if I can just hear it? But, I should not mind them. Insecurity kills a person, bitches!

I was about to go to my dorm but the headmaster called me.

"Ms. Demetri, I would like to invite you to my office tomorrow evening, after class. I'd like to discuss about something to you," he said.

"About what, headmaster?" I will ask.

"About the strongest creature," he replied.

I just nodded and smiled sparingly.

"Congratulations, again," he said with a smile.

"Thank you so much, headmaster."
