I am in so much trouble, and I have no idea what to do about it.
This can’t keep happening! I can’t keep sucking Zariah’s face off and then telling her that I don’t want to be with her.
Not only does it have to be making her crazy, and even angrier than usual at me, it’s starting to mess with my mind as well.
And now that I’ve established that the pack actually owes more than just Alpha Wilson money, but we actually owe several packs in the area tens of thousands, in some cases hundreds of thousands, of dollars… I have enough to worry about without having to navigate her thinking the fact that she’s my mate actually means something.
I’m going over the numbers, trying to figure out how the h*ll we’re going to come up with a half-million extra dollars when we can’t even pay our bills on time each month when Eli walks in.
I leave him standing in front of my desk for several minutes with his hands on his hips, staring at me without acknowledging him.
