Truth

At the Office, Clark still can't believe what happened the other day. Clark and XiaoXiao were not speaking the entire day. The atmosphere in the office was so awkward.

Clark receives a call.

"Hello?"

"Okay got it"

Clark smirks when he hears what the phone said. XiaoXiao glance at him. When he sees her staring at him he instantly pretends to be mad. XiaoXiao turned away immediately and rolled her eyes.

At the abandoned warehouse, Clark leaves his office without speaking to XiaoXiao.

"Tell me the truth!"

Clark was asking the man the other day who pretend to be XiaoXiao's bed lover. The man was blindfolded and tied up with rope.

His men were punching him until he tells the truth.

"Cough! Cough! F-Fine...I'-ll tell you... Ju-just let me go!"

Clark signals his men to take off his blindfold.

"I-im...not really's XiaoXiao l-lover...i w-was just ordered by someone."

Clark stares at him badly.

"(gulp) I-it's...Summer Lee!"

good! my woman isn't really cheating on me. Clark says in his head

"N-now...that I've told you to let me go."

His men cut the roped that are tied at him. Clark was really going to let him go but

"Yes, I'll let you go! Dead!"

The man was shivering all over his body when he hears that.

His men started to beat him badly. His blood was coming out of his mouth. Clark turns around and leave.

Summer Lee, you'll pay for this! Clark was so angry at Summer. He has known her for years but he can't imagine she is the mastermind behind this.

At the grocery store, XiaoXiao was buying foods cause she notices that the house needs food. And she has asked Aunt Li about this.

"Let see.....um.....ah..this!"

For several second, She receives a text. It's from Clark. he asking her where is she. She replied back that she is at the grocery store.

When she's done grocery, She immediately leaves the store. While she's booking a cab. Someone from behind talks to her.

"Well, Well looks who's here?"

"Summer Lee!"

"Oh! you're doing grocery and where did you get the money from? Sugar daddy? As far as i know, you don't even have money to pay for your dad's prison. right?"

Summer notice the grocery bags at her side. XiaoXiao clenches her fist out of anger.

"You did an investigation at me?"

"So what?"

"So where did you get the money from huh? sugar daddy?"

XiaoXiao immediately walks forward and slaps Summer causes her to fall on the ground. She can't control herself when she's being insulted to.

"How dare you!"

Summer stands up trying to slap her but suddenly someone grabs her wrist before she can do that.

"Clark!?"

"What the hell are ya doing?"

Summer and XiaoXiao were surprised when they see Clark. Clark immediately let go of her wrist.

"Clark. This woman slapped me do something I was just walking around and she attacked me!"

Summer suddenly runs toward him and hugging his left arm. Clark withdraws his arm and immediately grab XiaoXiao's shoulder close to him.

"Clark..."

"What makes you think I would believe you"

"Cla-"

"XiaoXiao go to the car first okay?"

XiaoXiao nods to him. She immediately takes her grocery and goes at the car.

"Now...I know you're the one behind it on the other day"

"What?"

"Still pretending? Um...let see... the man you ordered was dead!"

Summer was shocked when he says that. She can't believe that Clark would find out that. "Clark let me explain"

"Shut up!"

"Tomorrow I'll break off our engagement. No matter what causes to me!"

Clark turns his back on her and goes at the car and leaves. Summer was left behind. Sh*t this woman again! You'll pay for this. Summer was clenching her fist.
