Chapter 9 Amaris past(part2) And History of Nobles

Amaris walking in the library passing by the rows of large book shelves, she has already read most of the books in the library, some were related to the history of the world that was before the nightmare spell and some held the history of thousands of years old civilizations.

Some books held the rise and destruction of several kingdoms, Some books even held the information of the animals that has become extinct in the public eye.

While some books held the information of the strongest tribes, that her ancestors killed for their knowledge, and power.

Throughout all the books she has read, she have come to one fact and that is.

'My family is crazy for power.' thought Amaris as she shook her head.

That right Dark Solomon family is a family that is crazy for power, they had even slaughter some of the civilizations just because they were in the way of their power.

It all started with the man known as Lucius Dark Solomon, the first king and the one who established the Dark Solomon family, he was known by many titles. Like, the father of Solomon's, the man who walked the world, and the first one to tame a dragon.

Their is also an interesting story about him, that is spread all around the world.

It is said that when he was traveling, he encounter a dragon who was heavily injured to the point of dying. As if pitying the dragon he help it and by giving it one of the most precious Elixir in existence, an Elixir that could make any being immortal. The dragon touch by his kindness offer to become his companion, and want to travel along side him.

Seeing no harm in it Lucius also accepted the proposal, and thus their journey being, and so does their story, the man and the dragon together on the conquest to conquer the world.

Even a movie was also made on this, named The first king.

'But that not the true story.' thought Amaris as she recall what she has read about the first king.

The story the outside world knows is filled with lies and a little truth.

Yes it is true that Lucius gave one of the most precious Elixir to save the dragon, and it is also true that the dragon become it companion, but the true story is that Lucius was the one who injured the dragon as he wanted it to summit it to him, he wanted to use the power of the dragon to conquer the world, and he even succeed in doing it to after taming the dragon, he mercilessly burn down everyone who stood in his path.

Thus also earing the title The Mad King.

This is the real story, a story that will never be reviled to the public.

"sigh" a sigh escape Amaris lips.

'Well it's no use thinking about him as it isn't going to change my life.' thought Amaris as she knows that her physical and mental state is already a mess because of the torture she has received and she doesn't want to worse it more by reading about her ancestors.

Just as she was about to turn around, when a black book caught her attention.

'Hm, i don't think i have seen this book here.' thought Amaris as she knows that this section of books have already been read by her.

Curious she grabbed the book, it was heavy because of it's thickness, their were atleast thousands of pages in it.

She look at the book title.

'Origin of Nobles.' it was written in a language she has never seen or heard, but the fact that she was able to understand it naturally, made her even more cautious about the origin of this unknown book. 

'It says something about the origin of Nobles.' thought Amaris confused as she has never head the term Noble.

'Is it one of those races that has been killed by my family.' thought Amaris as she look at the book, deep in thought.

'Well only one way to find out.' after making up her mind she took the book and sat down in the near by tables, lighting up an oil lamp, she started reading the book.

{{The Nobles are an ancient and powerful race that possess great strength, speed and mind control power as well as various abilities related darkness, they also has the talent to grant similar powers to others through soul contracts. They reside on an world, known as Eclipsara, that cannot be detected by any being. Being as a powerful race, they have conquer a lot of worlds, capture and killed many civilizations and for millions of years, they have been worshipped as gods by various cultures around the worlds.}}

'Is... this a joke.'

Amaris has a look of shock plastid on her face as she read the contains of the book. She didn't dare to believe that such a race even exited.

One thing she knows is that, every knowledge that is store in this library is nothing but truth. 

She continue reading, she read on how they conquer the most powerful civilization and become the most powerful race in the universe.

While reading this one thing caught her attention.

{{Common traits among the nobles, aside from the strength and speed, is their extremely breath taking appearance that could make any being fall in love with them, and the fact that they live a long life. A normal Noble could live up to atleast a thousand year, while a high ranking one could live for atleast a millions year.}}

'Weren't they basically immortal.' thought Amaris, shocked that someone could live up to millions years, after all if someone were to live up to atleast a millions years he/she would be basically consider half immortal.

She read about on how the Nobles believe in the purity of the blood, much like her family, while in some other cases in where someone of the children's of Nobles were of Half blood because of the mating done with other races.

'Half blood ?' she then look down to see some explanation.

{{Nobles was divided into two category.

Pure blood and Half blood.

Pure blood : Pureblood Nobles are consider the strongest as their blood quality is pure, making them different form the other Half blood Nobles, these types of Nobles basically belong to the upper ranking in the Noble world, they are treated with respect and worship like a god by other races, they mainly belong to direct descendent of a clan. They can manipulate Aether, an energy that can control the very laws of the universe, while their potential is Limitless.

Half Blood : Half blood Nobles are consider the weakest, because the quality of their blood is not pure, making them different from the other Pure blood Nobles, these types of Nobles basically belong to the lower ranking in the Noble world, they are not treated with respect and are always look down upon, because of their origin. They also can't manipulated Aether because it is something only a pureblooded can do, and their potential is also limited.}}

'Well i did expected some racism.' Thought Amaris as she nodded her head, it was the movement when she saw that Nobles people are divided into two category. 

But 

'It a pity that they had to undergo something they chose not to become.' thought Amaris as she could not help but pity the Half blood, maybe it is because she has also gone through something similar in her childhood, even thought she herself is a pureblood.

Shaking her head to get rid of these thought, she continue reading.

{{{General Abilities of Nobles

Enhanced Speed: Nobles are able move at speeds that is invisible to the naked eye. Pure bloods can move up to atleast 800kmp, while a Half bloods can move up to 400kmp.

Enhanced Strength: Even the weakest and youngest Nobles have the physical strength to demolish buildings with punches and kicks. Pure blooded can destroyed a continent with their powerful punch, while the Half bloods could only destroy a city at most.

Enhanced Durability: Nobles are able to withstand impacts strong enough to destroy entire city blocks, and can survive damages that can obliterate ordinary human bodies. Pureblooded can survive a nuclear blast with miner injuries, while Half bloods will be heavenly injured beyond the point to recover. 

Regeneration: The Noble race is able to regenerate and heal injuries that would be considered deadly, Pure blooded can regrow back their limbs in seconds, while i may take a day for a half blood to regrow back his/her limbs.

Telekinesis: An common power that is found within high-ranking Nobles. Through telekinesis, Nobles can manipulate the world around them at a cellular level or lower with their thoughts. Only Pureblooded can used this power to it's full degree, while a Half blood can only used it to a basic level and if worked like a madman then to a mid level.

Aether Manipulation: A energy that belong to the universe. They can freely manipulate a phenomenon known as Aether which is the manifestation of the very essence of universe. This can be used for energy beams, bombs, force fields and constructs (such as spears and platforms). Only a descended of a pureblooded clan or royal family can harness this power.}}}

Amaris eyes were widden in disbelief as she read the powers that the race called Nobles posses, she has also come to know the difference between a Pure blooded and Half blood general abilities.

'The difference between a Pure blooded and a Half blood, is simply too much.' thought Amaris shock and a of bit fear, she already imagine that even a Half blood would be able to bring a disaster similar to a rank 3 gate.

And the fact that they can control a energy that that is the very essence of the universe.

As she was thinking about this when suddenly a small section on the bottom left of page caught her eye.

'There more!!' thought Amaris shocked but she quickly come out of it and started to read.

{{{Advanced Abilities

Soul Weapon: Only used by the members of the Royal family, they can manifest unique weapons which can be summoned by using their Aether energy. Every member awakened a different weapon from the other member, the weapon also show the personality and characteristic of a member. A royal blood can also give these weapons to other clan leaders but only in cases of emergencies like a war situation. 

Crimson Purgatory: Only used by Noblesse and the king, these two who wield the authority of Darkness, one of the laws of the universe, have the only right to used this power. This power can be in used in any shape and or in a from of weapon, but the most common one is dome in which they can trap their enemy and can control their life and death. In the dome they are the absolute law. }}

'Damn!!, that some overpowered abilities.' thought Amaris as she smiles bitterly, she couldn't help but be envious of them, she thought if she has these abilities then she would make sure to pay back her bitch of an aunt and her cunt of step sister for what they have done to her.

'But it a pity thought.' yes a pity indeed that she could only imagine, but one name also caught her interest.

'Who is this Noblesse ?' thought Amaris curious as to who this person or entity is to stand on equal ground with the king.

'He/She must be strong enough to stand on a equal footing with their king.' thought Amaris.

She flip the page, hoping to get her answer on the next page, she continue reading the achievements of the Nobles and their victories, which was honestly was making her sleep with how mighty and extravagant they have make themselves.

But as she flip the another page, her sleepiness quickly fade away.

'Finally' thought Amaris as she started reading the lines.

{{Hierarchy of the Nobles society.

The first one is the king who symbolizes authority and is the public face of noble society. The king rules over virtually all of Noble society, their affairs and commands absolute obedience from all other members of the race, even the Noblesse is no exception. The king also govern, influence and is the embody of the Noble society. The king is a hereditary position and the title has been passed down along the same bloodline for generations, along with all the previous Kings powers that are passed down to the next successor. 

Second only to the king is the Noblesse, who symbolizes strength and is the hidden protector of the noble race, from internal and external threats. The Noblesse is also a symbol of justice, acting as the judge of all Nobles, and reserves the right to execute anyone whom he deems in violation of the traditional Noble Code. The Noblesse is the second strongest member of the noble race and serves to protect the race from any internal or external threats .But his existence is hidden from the Noble society that only The king and the Clan leaders knows of his existence. 

Below these two pillars are the Clan leaders. The number of clan leaders have fluctuated over time; in the past, there were 20 clans, but over time only 15 remains, because the 5 clans have decided that they would betray The king and take the throne but before they were able to carry out their plans they were already dealt by the Noblesse. The clan leaders report directly to the Lord. They appear to be the main force in administrating and governing Eclipsara as well as the principal military might of the Noble race.

After them comes the normal civilians who are pure blooded, the civilians have an options if they want to join any clans or continue their on going lives.}}

'Wow...' Amaris couldn't help but marvel at the hierarchy of the Noble society. 

'So this person Noblesse is second only to King huh.' thought Amaris as her previous curiously is now satisfied.

'But their is no mention of Half blood though ?' thought Amaris as she turned the pages to pages but couldn't find any mentions of Half blood, though the page she has read about the hierarchy of the Noble society, she didn't find where the Half bloods stand.

'Maybe they were way to insignificant that the Nobles didn't even consider them as a normal civilians.' thought Amaris as she nodded her head.

She then flip the page as she read about the 15 clans and of their leaders and their history, just as she read the name of the Royal family she stopped.

Her eyes widden, her hands started trembling with uncertainty, she refuse to believe what she has seen.

But at the same time all the things started to make sense to her.

A large smile formed on her face, which distorted her facial feature, she covered her mouth as slowly but surely a small emotionless laughter left her mouth.

Should i break Raizel mentally to the point that he started seeing other as nothing more than a tool.

Should i develop his broken character from an emotionless to a person who started to care for his comrades.
