Chapter 33

Daniel who was sitting on the bench while enjoying the starry night sky was being interrupted by the voice of a woman. He decided to ignore for the time being as he didn't want to take his eyes off that beautiful view of the starry night sky with the moon among those stars.

They were like jewels adorning the view to him and he liked it.

But then—

"Hey, i'm talking to you don't ignore me!" The voice of the woman was loud this time and seemed so irritated and annoyed.

But he kept ignoring as if she was stone on the side of the road.

"Oyy just look at here and don't fucking ignore me! Do you hear me!" She was so irritated for being ignored by the man in front of her. This was the first time she was being ignored by man as every man she tried to talk to would blush and become embarrassed in front of her while trying to talk to her with shaky voice, but this man in front of her was a different case.

He fucking ignored her!

Daniel being interrupted again felt his mood spoiled, decided to go back home so he stood up getting ready to go back.

"Hey—"

"What do you want?" He suddenly said with a cold calm voice without looking at her as she didn't deserve his attention.

Hearing his voice the woman was stunned for a second and looked dazed as his voice although cold was deep and sharp shaking her core.

But then she shook her head and smiled seductively while getting closer.

"Stay still and don't move an inch, if you move then I'm going. I'm giving you a chance to tell me what do you want, so you better take it." He said again making the woman stop in her tracks and gulp a mouthful of saliva as she felt a slight danger from his words.

"I-I just wanted to get to know you and maybe hang out... together? Maybe?" She said while sweating slightly.

But then—

"Hmmm...a waste of time." He said as darkness engulfed his very being before he disappeared leaving the woman standing alone in the park with the night breeze brushing her long black hair.

He didn't spare a look at her at all, not even a glimpse. This is—

"So humiliating!" Her body shook while she gritted her teeth so hard and a look of anger and annoyance adorned her face.

"Me Raynare, the MOST beautiful Fallen Angel being ignored like that by a mere man! This is so HUMILIATING! I swear once I find him, I will rip his body into a shreds and throw his flesh to the dogs. Of course after I take his Sacred Gear." She said before a pair of black wings appeared behind her back and then she flew off in the sky disappearing completely from the park.

Earlier, she was following Daniel since he got out of the restaurant as she felt a strange aura coming out of him that she attributed it to be coming from a sacred gear inside him making her greedy and want to steal it from him.

But she didn't know that this strange aura that she felt was just the aura that Daniel used to make him look normal in front of people so to not attract much attention. This woman because of her greed to steal sacred gears to make herself stronger didn't realize that she was playing with fire when she decided to come close to him.

Trying to fool a Monarch, the Shadow Monarch himself, was a very bad move especially after she had spoiled his mood with her annoying voice. She should consider herself lucky that he ignored her and went away.

Do you think yourself worthy of having an audience with the Shadow Monarch, the Death incarnate and the Ruler of Darkness?

Even Daniel didn't want to know her name. He had more important things to do like appeasing his wife because he forgot himself and was late.

A very important war was waiting for him and he couldn't be late.

Once Daniel got back he was met by two lustful wives, no, they were two hungry beasts waiting for their prey to come and devour him.

And Daniel wasn't in the least worried about their hungry gazes as he had a great confidence in his stamina so he could fight with both of them for a long time.

A battle of attrition would only be their loss.

And indeed after he took his two wives to reconcile and appease them in the bed, they didn't last long with him.

And although he did it on a spiritual level with Lily, his soul simply got so strong during those years so he could last longer than her and with Shuri, he made a mess out of her as his stamina was simply maxed out.

A Monarch's body is so special after all.

Anyway, they finished at four in the morning before they had some sleep.

Regarding Rias and Akeno, both were in the underworld training and spending time together along with Koneko who slowly was getting used to them. Although the progress was too slow but it was a progress nonetheless.

And Grayfia was with Venelana and with her husband's influence on them disappearing, they were safe. All due to Daniel who brainwashed Zeotiucs and made him follow his orders and work as double agent while leaving Venelana and her daughter alone.

Of course he didn't tell anyone about that, which made the brown haired woman very confused at the sudden change in her husband's behavior to being passive and leaving them alone.

Although they didn't talk or eat together, that was better than a snake actively crawling in the house. But still she didn't know why the change so suddenly.

But a certain silver haired maid and a crimson haired beauty knew who was the cause despite him not telling anyone.

Well, women intuition?

So scary if it was. It's an OP ability.

It was morning and Daniel was in the kitchen making breakfast as always loved cooking as a hobby to relax.

And after some minutes came Lily and helped him along with Shuri who came afterwards by one or two minutes to prepare the table for them to eat.

But on dining table there was three more dishes filled with food as Lily told her hubby to make another three portions out of the blue making him confused but didn't object and made them. He wondered who was coming, but then when he and them seated in their respective chairs, a crimson magic circle appeared behind Daniel who was sitting at the top of the table and from it thee figures appeared.

Rias, Akeno and Grayfia. Daniel felt them and was still confused as he didn't see any of his wives contacting them to come or anything.

Maybe yesterday, or it was something else?

Then suddenly, both Rias and Akeno kissed both of this cheeks.

"Good morning Dan~" (Rias)

"Good morning Daniel~" (Akeno)

Then both went and sat on their chairs with red cheeks while Grayfia looked for a second at him before walking and sitting along with them, but that didn't escape the observant eyes of the two milfs.

"Did you call them yesterday to come in the morning for breakfast?" He asked his wives.

"No, we didn't." (Lily)

"Then how—"

"Dear, it's women intuition~" Shuri said while giggling as she covered her mouth with her delicate hand. So they just felt that they would come at this hour, exactly after they finished making breakfast?

"Hmm..." (Daniel)

Then without waiting for long, they started eating while Daniel just shrugged it off and pretended that he didn't hear what Shuri had just said.

He didn't want to think about it.

After breakfast both Rias and Akeno went to school while Lily, Shuri and Grayfia went to shopping and have some women talk between themselves.

Lily as a member of heaven had a her platinum card that had billions if not trillions of yen in it that was enough to buy this whole country and more.

That left us with Daniel who decided to contact Ophis, that was sleeping in his Land of Eternal Rest, to keep her own part of the deal.

They will fight inside the land of eternal rest so to not cause unrecoverable damage to this world.

Beside, his shadow dimension was so huge like planet Jupiter, for now.

And more than that, it was sturdy and could bear their fight.

So without waiting, he sank in his shadow and went in his shadow dimension straight to the cave where Ophis was sleeping. (I will call it Shadow Dimension from now on because the name of Land of Eternal Rest is quite long and will annoy the reader if he kept reading the name repeatedly. I just mentioned the name so to tell you that it could called either names to not be confused.)

Going inside the dark cave, Daniel could see everything so easily with his eyes that were glowing. Beside being the master of this dimension, his eyes could make him see anything whether hidden or cannot be seen through normal means.

He walked but his steps didn't make any sounds at all due to the nature of this cave that could make the sound disappear or simply erase it. So no matter how much you screamed, you wouldn't hear your voice at all.

All due to the darkness that was heavily concentrated in the cave.

The only way to talk was through telepathy.

After walking for some time, Daniel reached the end of the cave and saw there a sight to behold.

A very gigantic snake dragon with jet black scales making it blend well in with the darkness. It was swirling itself in a circle as if it was going to devour its own tail like how an Ouroboros should look like.

This was Ophis, the Ouroboros dragon of Infinity.

'She is so huge and massive that I bet there is no place for her on the world to accommodate her true form, beside, no human or a supernatural beings could withstand that madness and chaos she was emitting unconsciously because he true form wasn't meant for humans or gods to see.' He thought as he kept looking at her with admiration in his eyes as it was his first time to see her true from.

Only those with affinity to death and dreams could withstand looking directly at her and of course Chaos energy users are included.

That's why she always used a humanoid form, so to not make whoever look at her go crazy and corruption eat them from inside out until they die.

She is more terrifying than the Great Red in her own way as both are super duper strong but each one has what it makes him/her more terrifying than the other.

Now enough talking, let's get down to the real business.

But before he could use telepathy to talk to her—

[You should stop this habit of yours of looking at my body, do you like it this much?] Suddenly a monotone voice sounded in his head that was tinged with a hint of embarrassment and shyness.

[Well, you are so amazing that I couldn't help admire you. Never in my wildest dreams imagined your true form to be like this. Fitting for your name as an Ouroboros dragon.] He said with a faint smile as he looked at the two black orbs that were slightly glowing in white, giving them this brightness, although it was like two dots. But that made her look more terrifying tho like imagine two white glowing eyes in the darkness looking straight at you. Very terrifying, right?

[...I don't know what to say but thank you.] Her voice was the same of a little girl but with expressionless face. She somehow looked cute to Daniel.

[Did you like the place here?]

[Very much, it's even better than the place in the Dimensional Gap that baka red stole from me.]

'She is still pissed off, isn't she?'

[You are welcome to stay here for as long as you want but I'm here for a different reason than making sure you liked the place or not.]

[Tell me.]

[Your part of the deal.] That was only what he said but it was enough for Ophis to understand.

[Very well, let's go do it outside.] She said as suddenly her body was engulfed in darkness before it became smaller until it took the shape of a little girl.

Daniel nodded at her before he walked while she was beside him.

Right now, a big fight is going to happen between two forces of nature, Daniel and Ophis.

Although it's like a spar but a fight is a fight and casualties are bound to happen.

A/N: Here I rewrote the chapter again. Hope you like it this time guys.

The next chapter will be a fight between them and if you want to know the way I would describe it you could see my other novel. It has so many fighting scenes, especially in the third arc.

And regarding the matter of outer gods, I won't put them in the novel. But there will some enemies of my creation that could put a threat to Daniel so to make him a lot stronger.

To who is wondering whether the MC will travel to another worlds, this is still uncertain till this point. Only the future will tell.
