Servants With a Modern Weapon

Wilson is a servant for the duke's daughter. Little to none known about him. Although something is puzzling about him, perhaps it's his reputation, or maybe it's merely his decency. However, nonetheless, people tend to pretend to be his best friend while wanting to know his secret. Sorry for my bad English since I'm not a native speaker. [Hiatus For Now]

Operation Servum Liberantum PT 2

I turned on the thermal on my scope and begin to see many things on the fortress. Mostly the guards that were on patrol at that time. I put a suppressor on my rifle, and Garth did the same too.

Wilson: "Chief Jenkins. Could you help Bravo team to move using the IR camera on the heli."

Jenkins: "Roger."

I saw three people were hiding behind a wall while two guards were having a conversation in front of them. From the looks of it, they couldn't progress further than that. I shot my rifle to those two guards, and the group started to move again.

Maria: "Wilson, How many hostiles are there?"

Wilson: "Let me count it."

I moved the scope across every corner and every side of the fortress looking for any guards that could be a threat to the Bravo team. Luckily, with the help of Garth and Chief Jenkins, I could locate them quickly.

Wilson: "About 20 guards scattered on the wall, 9 of them are in the middle of the fort, and there are two of them guarding each door. I can't tell you how many of them are on stand by in the inside of the fort."

Maria: "That still counts as help."

Garth: "Bravo, it looks like a guard is coming your way. Taking the shot."

The white dots in the display went to black, indicating that the person had died. The Bravo team started to move again to the stair to go down to the yard. They hide behind a wooden barrel while waiting for a guard to pass.

Garth: "Bravo team be advised, slaves are getting out of the building."

Cecile: "Bravo two roger."

Wilson: "Alpha team couldn't get an exact visual on the slaves. Sorry, Bravo, but I can't help you."

Maria: "Shock and Awe, then?"

Wilson: "Not yet. Let's just watch where are they going first."

Maria: "Roger."

From the south direction, I saw a carriage coming from the south of Vialis village. From the looks of it, It was a slave carriage. I told the pilot to get closer to the carriage, but make sure that we are not spotted.

Wilson: "Could you get closer to that carriage in the direction of 1-8-0."

Jenkins: "Sure, sir."

He flew the helicopter closer to the carriage then he flew pretty low to that carriage. The driver spotted us and whipped his horse; thus, the carriage went faster.

Garth: "Firing the GAU-19."

A rain of .50 caliber bullets destroyed the carriage in one sweep and thus putting the wagon out of the commission. The sound from that rotary barrel must be putting that fortress on warning.

Maria: "Alpha team, be advised. The target that you destroyed was a decoy. The real transport is here. Should I follow it?"

Wilson: "Is it safe?"

Maria: "Do you think anything is safe in this op?"

Wilson: "No, I don't approve of it. Just find Natalie and get out of there. I will handle that transport later."

Cecile: "There is a slave with glasses in the carriage."

Wilson: "Wilson, is is Natalie?"

Cecile: "I don't know. I don't have the exact visual."

Wilson: "Continue with the operation. We can't support you for now since every dead body has a big risk of being spotted. Bravo team, for now, sniper support will be unavailable."

Christine: "Don't worry. We will be ok. Just give us a direction."

Wilson: "Ok, The direction will be given by Chief Smith."

Smith: "Roger that, sir."

Jenkins: "Use the terminal to figure out the TRP."

Smith: "Roger that, sir."

I observe their movement using my scope. They hadn't moved a single step from that barrel. Their NVG surely helps, but the rain was the biggest problem. The rain was as thick as a curtain of a waterfall. Our pilots barely can pilot our helicopter.

"Wilson, do you think Natalie is in that carriage?" Garth asked while aiming his rifle down.

"I can't decide about that yet. Though truth to be told. I'm afraid that she is in that carriage. The bad news is that we can't take out that carriage with this HE .50 cal rotary gun," I said as I pointed my hand at the GAU-19.

"Ok, I see," Garth said.

Jenkins: "Alpha, you can take out the guard in front of the barrel now. Most of the guards become the escort for the carriage."

Garth: "Alpha one, I will take out the five-person on the right, and you will take out the ten on the left."

Wilson: "Roger."

I aimed at the people on the right side of the fort. Four were stationed on the wall, and six of them were near the barrel of the yard. I took the shot, and two of them died by the shot from the .338 Lapua Magnum.

Wilson: "Bravo, you have to move to the door in the north."

Christine: "Roger that, Alpha 1."

The group moved to the door near the wall of the fort. They neutralized the guards that were guarding the entrance. Lucky for them, the witches on the guard tower didn't notice them at all.

Wilson: "Bravo team out of visual contact. Good luck."

I decided to clean the yard for our LZ. So we decided to neutralize everyone on the outside of the castle since nobody is going to attack us if the Bravo's helo landed there.

"Alpha is going to neutralize the hostiles on the LZ," I said as I released several shots to the guards that were patrolling the fort.

"Threat neutralized," I said as several dead bodies were lying down on the ground.

Alexa: "Alpha, you need an airstrike yet?"

Wilson: "Not yet."

Suddenly, I can hear a lot of explosions on the radio.

Maria: "Bravo team is under heavy fire."

Wilson: "How?"

Maria: "It is raining outside, yes."

Wilson: "So?"

Maria: "Use your common sense! they are taking shelter inside the fort."

Wilson: "What? Has Natalie been rescued?"

Maria: "Yes, but we use a restrainer to carry her since she is injured. Bravo Three is the only one that can shoot the rifle now."

Wilson: "Wait there, I'm coming to help."

Garth and I rappeled down to the yard of the Fort, then faced by massive resistance from the Guards that were guarding there. This time we didn't hold a regular rifle, but a General Electric ILR-579.
