"This view is all I need for the past few years," exclaimed Wennes. Taylor looked at her and smiled. "I have always wanted to ride this chairlift in Banff," said Taylor.
He further added, "It's like a dream coming true." Wennes looked at him and inquired, "You don't seem to be single."
Taylor laughed and said, "Well, I am." Wennes replied, "God, what is happening to these handsome guys nowadays." They both laughed. Wennes added, "I wish this ride would never end."
Taylor added, "I wish they were here with us too." Wennes sadly nodded. Taylor looked at Wennes and said, "I don't know, but it feels so good being here with you and talking to you." Wennes jokingly added, "I don't approve of younger guys, sorry."
They both then laughed, enjoying the beautiful view from a height. Taylor then added, "I had a girl in my life. She was the light in my life." Wennes inquired, "What happened to her?" Taylor first stayed quiet and then replied, "She left me." He sighed and added, "She had to go abroad for studies."
Wennes listened to him quietly as he added, "She liked me as much as I liked her, but after two years of going abroad, she cut all ties with me, leaving me heartbroken."
Wennes replied, "So sorry to hear that." Taylor smiled and added, "Don't be." He further added, "I guess life is all about heartbreaks, and when you think that's the end of life, it takes you to a whole new point from where you have to take a fresh start."
Wennes nodded and after a long silence she said, "I am divorced." Taylor looked at her in surprise and added, "Oh, what—oh, I am so sorry to hear that."
Wennes smiled and added, "Well, I am very happy now." They both laughed. Wennes further added, "Just waiting for this little one to be born so I can enjoy my life with her." Taylor smiled brightly as he looked at Wennes, admiring her baby bump.
Porsche first went to see where Anna was. He found her sitting on the bench alone. He then went to the ticket booth and got two tickets.
He then approached Anna and forcefully grabbed her. Anna got all surprised getting grabbed all of a sudden and forcibly took her to the station.
Anna kept saying, "Porsche, leave my hand. It's hurting." Porsche didn't listen to her and kept walking, holding her strongly. Anna tried to free herself, but all in vain. Getting upset, she pushed him and shouted, "What do you need?" making everybody's eyes turn toward them.
Porsche moved towards her and angrily whispered in her ear, "Don't cause any drama here." Anna, as she looked around, felt embarrassed.
Porsche then grabbed her hand again and started walking. As they reached the station, Porsche gave their tickets while waiting for the chairlift.
Realizing that they would be going on a chairlift, she tried to run away, but Porsche held her firmly.
Anna begged, "Porsche, we can't talk somewhere else, but don't do this with me. I am very scared of heights."
Porsche completely ignored what she said. As their cabin was almost there, Anna cried, "I can't, I won't, I will scream if you force me..."
Before she could complete her sentence, Porsche strongly pulled her into the cabin. Anna started trembling and had her eyes closed.
She couldn't see down as she was shivering in fear. She had tightly gripped Porsche, who was standing right behind her.
Anna was completely quiet. Porsche kept looking at her. "I am standing right behind you. Try to open your eyes slowly. The view is beautiful," he said softly. Anna didn't reply. Porsche held her from behind and politely said, "You are completely fine. Try to open your eyes."
But still, Anna didn't open her eyes. He then turned Anna to face him and said, "Look at me at least." She slowly opened her eyes, filled with tears. They both kept looking at each other. Anna then started breathing heavily.
Porsche tried to calm her down by saying, "It's okay, it's okay. We are all fine. I am with you." Anna cried, "I told you- huh- I told you that I am scared of heights." Porsche responded, "You don't have to be scared when I am here with you."
As a slight disturbance caused by the wind, Anna closed her eyes and tightly hugged Porsche, squeezing his shoulders with her hands.
Trembling in fear, she spoke with a squeaky voice, "I hate you so much that I would push you from here and won't feel bad for killing you." Porsche sarcastically laughed and added, "You have already done that to me. Don't kill me twice."
Anna then slowly lightened her grip on Porsche and turned to see the view. Enchanted by the magnificent sight, despite her trembling, she found the clouds surrounding their cabin, obscuring the mountains in the distance. "So heavenly," she muttered, captivated by the scenery.
Porsche remained quiet, observing Anna's reaction to the view. When there was another disturbance, Anna quickly held Porsche's hand.
Feeling embarrassed, she moved away, but Porsche pulled her toward himself.
Anna kept looking away, and Porsche asked, "Why do you ignore me ?" He further asked," You always want to run away from me. Why?"
Anna stayed silent, and Porsche pulled her even closer. "I hope you suffer the way you made me suffer" he said, smiling.
With the feeling of strangers between them, Anna's eyes became teary. She turned away and went to stand in a corner.
Porsche, also struggling internally, turned towards the other side.
As they reached the station, Porsche carefully helped Anna out of the cabin and then exited himself. Anna was walking briskly, trying to distance herself from Porsche. However, he caught her hand, making her face him.
"Stop running away. You don't know the way back," he said firmly.
"How will we go back then?" Anna asked angrily.
"Obviously, we'll have to ride the chairlift back," said Porsche.
Anna, annoyed, added, "I won't ride it again."
Porsche, nonchalant, retorted, "Then stay here," and walked past her.
