Joshua sat idly next to Lucas at the edge of the small rectangular table, his gaze briefly resting on Rex as he mulled over what to tell the group.
Suddenly, the door busted open, and in rushed Stellar, Hunter and a worried-looking Zeke.
"Joshua, are you okay?" Zeke asked, his voice was laced with concern. Joshua could only force a smile after seeing the man.
"Why wouldn't he be?" Hunter asked while taking a seat next to Stellar, who sat at the edge of the small couch.
"Yeah, nothing seems wrong with him, Zeke. Quit being a mother chicken so much, dude," Stellar said, crossing her legs, clearly waiting for whatever Rex was going to speak.
Joshua sighed deeply, still unsure if he should tell them the whole thing or just brief over it.
